  1. Look overinflated to me....
  2. ECD - congratulations on your decision and good luck. I hope you achieve the results you want. But we need some before and after pics....oops. You know the saying.....pics or it didn't happen.
  3. Looks like a lot of good advice listed above. All I can offer you Tom is GOOD LUCK!! And your company's VP and lawyer show they are serious about getting your citation dismissed. Again, GOOD LUCK!
  4. Ether is the best cold starting aid. However, ether will strip any lubricant from the cylinder walls resulting in metal to metal contact. Also ether has a low combustion/ignition temperature. Too much ether will bend and break parts. I have seen bent rods, split rings, and holes in pistons from too much ether. Today most ether has a small amount of lubricant in the can. If you use ether, use it as a "last resort" and use it VERY SPARINGLY. WD40 or any spray penetrant is a good alternative. Just say NO to ether!
  5. The original air bag P/N is 227QS38B. I think MHFred changed his bags, perhaps he can provide some info. Post an update once you replace the bag. I am planning to replace both bags and all shocks this spring.
  6. I would insulate the ceiling and invest in an electric space heater with blower and mount it on the wall.
  7. I am the same way but still prefer to be a spectator. That lady sure has some "developed" legs.
  8. I hate to say it and I hope and pray I am wrong but......guys like Vinny and Ben are going to have a tough "row to hoe".
  9. Nice pics as usual. Where was the MH? Was it for sale? Did you get the cereal number? (Do I sound like someone else? ) BTW, if you quit going to those "winfall wimmin" sites you likely will not get any viruses. I guess there is a reason you don't pickup any of those wimmin....they have a virus.
  10. Just a suggestion....don't let your garage get below 40 deg F. Do whatever is necessary to keep it above 40. My garage is connected to the house (1/2 full of my stuff and an open bay for the wife's vehicle). The garage is insulated so most of the time it is warmer than the outside temperature (usually 50 degrees during the winter just from the heat of the vehicle even with outside temps in the 20s and 30s). But when the mercury dips low (under 20), I crack open the door to the house and let some of the warm air heat the garage. Most winters I do not need to open the house door but the past few weeks it was open most of the time. Another suggestion, don't open the garage door until the vehicle is loaded and you are ready to start the vehicle and close it as soon as you exit the garage. As you enter the garage, turn off the vehicle, and close the garage door. Keep the time the garage door is open to a minimum.
  11. OD, did you get a new turbo with your computer tune-up?
  12. How about this one..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGxg_iXdd6E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV1GTR8L3XI
  13. I am with you DCW. I have not watched professional sports for at least 10 years. Most are criminals, drug users, physical abusers, and the list continues. If you or I acted like most sports players, we would be out of a job or in jail. Back in the day, the majority of sports players were professional and for the most part looked, acted, and dressed like professionals off the field. Sorry for the mini-rant and off topic post....move along, nothing to see
  14. Mark...nice and thanks for posting. Perhaps Ron Harper has some pics to share.
  15. Hopefully no one was hurt when the plow fell off the truck. Did they give the driver a citation for unsafe equipment?
  16. Welcome to BMT. Nice looking R. Just hope the guy posted the correct pic with the listing.
  17. Welcome to BMT
  18. Larry, which one is you?
  19. I come here because I don't have anything else to do..... I really need to find something productive to do with my time. Seriously I joined to learn more about my MH and locate needed parts. I met many nice people, well for the most part, and learned lots about Macks. BMT is the best place to hang out on the interweb. I spend 90% of my "interweb forum" time here on BMT. I never expected to develop friendships with many of the BMT members and to be active in attending truck shows. I look forward to the shows to meet friends and make new friends. I am not much help on a lot of things but help as best I can when I can. I belong to the Honda Nighthawk forum and several farm/tractor forums but rarely post. Barry let's us have a lot of freedom and to "police ourselves". He steps in when needed. Great job Barry!
  20. Welcome to BMT
  21. Can they re-chrome existing chrome plated plastic? See my post below: http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/34158-mh-grille-nos-parts/
  22. DCW....that is heavy stuff.....you need to lay off that "cough medicine"... I belong to a motorcycle forum (not H-D) and they are kinda strict but they do have great emoticons.
  23. Seen this before....no truer words.....
  24. The coolant conditioner filter, housing, and tube were removed from my EM7. The fleet used red coolant. Are you saying I do not need a coolant conditioner? What is your recommendation....keep it as is or reinstall the coolant conditioner filter? Do I still need to check the additives with a strip? Thanks!
