  1. Nice truck JT....you can delete your own post. Look at the bottom of the message window, there should be a DELETE button. BTW, you can change it from FOR SALE to SOLD. Go to "edit" the message and make the change. What other "gems" are you "hiding"?
  2. Thanks everyone for the comments. I was concerned about bending/breaking the trailer pin or putting undue stress on the fifth wheel. The only spinning is when I am pulling uphill in the grass. I try to take the slope at a shallow angle rather than a sharp turn. BTW, on the return trip home, the trailer is empty of Geritol.
  3. Seeing this picture/thread....I have a question.....How much "twist" can a trailer/fifth wheel take? At the rear of the barn I have a small sloping bank about 3' above the side road that is used as an entrance. I normally use the rear entrance and pull around the barn to the parking area. I swing the truck to the far side of the road and turn left into the entrance. I also tried to "take it at an angle" keeping the truck/trailer as straight as possible. However, I eventually need to turn the truck left to continue into the entrance. Of course the trailer is still at an angle and comes up over the bank which is slightly steeper than the entrance. The rear entrance is not used much and is covered with grass. I go slow but fast enough to prevent loosing traction in the grass. Attaching a pic of the area and approach. The entrance is at the end of the "pole shadow". When I returned from Macungie, I decided to pull into the main entrance and turn around behind the barn. What a frickin' nightmare!!! I did get it turned around but had to pull/back about 20 times. Not much area to manuver. And then there are those ruts from manuvering on the soft grass.
  4. Deere also made an 820 3 cylinder....then there is the 4320 (the real one) and a compact one.
  5. Nice pics. Wide variety of trucks. Wifey and I were planning to attend on Saturday morning but the "liquid sunshine" changed our minds. Sunday was a nice day but we had other plans. Maybe next year. Thanks for posting!
  6. Congrats Mike! However I do like my EM7-300 V-MAC I.
  7. I need to go to Winfall and get a "hand job".
  8. Nice, that one has mike69mackman's name on it!
  9. Robert, I agree. Deere's site saves me a lot of time (and the dealer too). It would be nice if Mack (and other OEs) did the same. This feature would allow us to research parts and perhaps save the dealer time.
  10. Ron, I buy Geritol in bulk. I will not miss a few gallons! Hope you had an enjoyable birthday!!
  11. Saw this ad while browsing thru Auto & RV.....no connection to ad or seller. http://www.autorv.com/browse.aspx?AdName=CEH1495012
  12. Happy Birthday Ron! Some Geritol is being sent......
  13. I sent a note to Barry and he said it was basically for fleets and only shows parts stocked at the dealer. Perhaps Barry will clarify this issue. John Deere has a nice site where one can access parts manuals, parts substitutions, check dealer availability, reserve/order parts, and get list prices.
  14. Randy, I hope things work out okay. As for me....another reason I do not have a Facebook account.
  15. How about the 2012 MH613 listed in Truckpaper by Boston Freightliner? Doesn't anyone proof read these ads? Agree, makes the dealer look stupid. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=5204491

  17. Remember....what happens in Macungie, stays in Macungie.
  18. Thanks for the reminder. I plan to be in OH this weekend and hopefully Saturday the Wifey and I can attend (but without the MH). However, the dates are June 21-22 (Saturday and Sunday).
  19. I hope your Disney hot tub pics are not in there....
  20. Not saying you don't know how to move the tilt lever but here are some pics of the lever in locked and tilt positions. Hope this helps.
  21. She was cute but not as HOT as the NIT at TK. I would not kick either one out of bed.....unless there is more room on the floor. BTW, don't forget to email the TK pics. Thanks!
  22. Rob, Good to see you made it back to WA albeit a LOOOONNNNG trip! Enjoyed hanging with you and Roger. As for the pic....Obummer's informant (OD) has likely forwarded it to the prez along with our names.
  23. Great pics! Thanks for sharing! P.S. Yardo has your parts.
  24. How about next year? You are welcome to stop-in at the farm anytime you are in the area. Our local show (ATCA Keystone Chapter) is August 15-17. Watt's show is Saturday August 2nd.
  25. Marcel, Four (4) positions. Attached are pics...full up and full down. Hope this helps. Are you pushing the tilt lever all the way down? Pushing the lever completely down will hit your knee.
