  1. Driver's side muffler bracket will be difficult to find. No NOS in Mack parts system. I been looking for several years and nothing. There is likely a MH sitting in a salvage yard somewhere. Either side fuel tank should be the same. I may know of a tank but will need to check the size. Good luck!
  2. Dennis, Your MH is very nice. Personally I would keep it original but your choice. Enjoy! P.S. If you "toss" any parts....send them to south central PA.
  3. Hey Al...did you need to go to the bathroom? Looks like you are "holding it". BTW, thanks for the pics!
  4. Do you want me to send a case of bottled water? All joking aside, I hope that area gets some rain soon and fire gets shutdown....before more losses occur. Rob - keep your family, friends, and yourself safe!
  5. Good news! Looking forward to seeing pics. Good luck and enjoy the MH!
  6. Highway speed is based on engine speed, transmission final ratio, rear axle ratio, and tire size. I think the important question is...what is the gross weight? That will determine your horsepower requirement. Either of these engines (E7 or EM7), if geared correctly, is capable of running 70 mph.
  7. E7-250 = 1950 rpm, E7-300 = 1700 and 1900, E7-350 & E7-400 = 1800 EM7s were rated at 1750 rpm Based on my engine experience, I would suspect more than a governor change. I agree with Superdog....lots of parts to change. My MH is an EM7-300 with T2050 transmission and 5.02 ratio. I can run all day at 65-70 mph (GCW is 65,000#).
  8. If "red" is there, I will be there!
  9. I agree, if electronic tach...likely an electronic engine.
  10. You are not far from me. Watt has two (2) MHs that they may part out. They plan to send them to the scraper soon. I can't remember if they have a visor. BTW, there are two (2) visor styles, rounded and one that is more square. Don't know the manufacturers. (green has rounded visor)(black MH has "square" visor) I was able to locate NOS grille sections but still need upper driver's side. I bought most of them many many years ago from Mack. Mack does not have any more in stock. You can order new grille sections but they are ALL BLACK and you must buy all six (6) sections (at least $1200 for all six). There is a BMT thread concerning the MH grille. I recently found used upper and lower center sections that are better than mine. My upper center section has some bars missing and the lower section is cracked. Sent you a pm with my contact info.
  11. EM7 peak torque @ 1020 rpm E7 peak torque @ 1200-1250 rpm
  12. Mike = Superdog Al = 57 bcr? others????
  13. Where are you located? You might find a visor at Gerhart's in October or Macungie. Welcome to the "need a grille" club.
  14. At the bottom of the speadsheet it states "No domestic chassis will be built after Jan 1, 1994". To me that means 94 and 95 were export only. Could be "downunder" but maybe someone else knows the answer.
  15. Congrats and welcome to the "MH club". Mack only built 122 1993 MH613. 1993 was the last year for US production.
  16. My MH takes a Fleetguard LF634 filter. Not sure if Mack used the same PS reservoir on the F. If you go to a Mack dealer with your serial number, they may be able to look up the filter required.
  17. the only good squirrel is a dead squirrel! Good to hear only "minor" fire damage.
  18. Mike, nice pic. who is who?
  19. Thanks for the pics Mark but it doesn't look like the GM Nationals at Carlisle. Never seen palm trees at Carlisle.
  20. Went to Carlisle today but never connected with 41chevy. Lots and lots of MOPARS (parts and cars). Frickin' hot too! Saw several that had my name on them but I resisted. Came home empty handed.
  21. I was at a local truck show last summer when some "smartassed" kid was showing his friend how "smart dumb" he was about trucks. When he came to the MH, he said "see those grab handles up by the windshield? You stand on the bumper steps and pull on the handles to tilt the cab." I just shook my head.
  22. MOPAR Carlisle is July 11-13. I am planning to attend on Friday (11th) and meet up with Paul (41chevy). Anyone else planning to attend?
  23. Enjoy your vacation!
  24. I DID like pizza but now I NEVER want to see pizza again! And I owe all to you guys!
