  1. We are staying at the usual hotel....Hawthorne Suites in Fogelsville. Sounds like a plan...need a BMT group mug shot. Lunch is 12N-2p. Maybe we can meet then. We need to wear our tin foil hat so we can recognize each other. Barry - where are the offical BMT shirts? Did it have an aroma?
  2. The fuel shutoff solenoid is just to the left of the circle (10 o'clock position). It is mounted on the front side of the injection pump. The fuel solenoid itself may be functional but it is controlled by the V-MAC module (ECM). There are many sensors that "feed" the ECM. It could be anyone of these sensors that is causing the ECM to shutoff the fuel. Is the CEL (check engine light) illuminated? As theakerstwo posted, your best bet is to get it to a Mack dealer so they can hookup a computer and diagnose the issue. As much as I like to "do things myself", it is sometimes less expensive and time consuming to pay an "expert". Either way good luck in resolving your issue.
  3. No, that is the econovance (engine timing control).
  4. Is the bumper chrome plated steel or stainless coated/polished aluminum?
  5. Based on the pic, it is NOT an ETech but rather a conventional pump-line-nozzle injection system. Is the transfer/supply pump providing fuel to the injection pump? If so then the problem is between the pump and nozzles. Or could be a problem with the ECM.
  6. Pics of the moving van?
  7. The wifey and I will be arriving sometime late Friday afternoon. We are open to meeting for dinner depending on the time...Fogelsville Hotel? Second the "wife is not fond of TK". Hmmm, I question why? I think it is a very nice place and they serve food too. Ron - I resemble that remark! P.S. Since the wifey will be with me I must be on my best behavior....Now where did I put my halo?
  8. What features does the VMAC II add?
  9. Rick, How does it fasten to the MH grille? Any pics? Thanks!
  10. Any interior pics? TLC....like?
  11. With a turbo engine, anything you can do to reduce the back pressure (and inlet restriction) will help performance.
  12. Been following this thread. My cousin lives in Hamburg. Thinking about the cop telling you to "clean the manifold"...your reply should have been "yes officer, that is what I was doing and that is the reason for all the black smoke."
  13. He wanted to show his "feminine" side.
  14. Companion post to "blower motors for sale".
  15. Bringing this post to the top and edited the original post. I have several Mack parts (new and used) that I will be bringing to Gerhart's. Some F fenders/kick panels, fuel tank brackets (fit B - I think), E6 oil cooler w/filter housing, used injection pump, used PTO pump, rebuilt water pump, new water pump, side glass (R and F doors), and old style K&D marker lamps (metal housing w/plastic lens) to name a few. Other miscellaneous parts. PM with part number/description...I will check and send pics. Never know what I might have in my trailer. Also three (3) old storage trunks from my brother's estate. I do not have prices on the parts or trunks but open to reasonable offers. Prefer to deliver to Gerhart's but will package and ship at buyer's expense. Thanks!
  16. OD - remember....the only good squirrel is a dead squirrel. I hear they taste like chicken.
  17. Welcome to BMT. I can't answer your first two (2) questions. As for book/manual....send a letter or email to the Mack Museum with the vehicle serial number. They will send you a copy of the original build sheet along with other information. They do this free of charge but a "nice" donation is in order once you see all the information you receive. The backlog is 6-8 weeks. You can get the Museum contact info at the Mack Trucks website.
  18. Site needs upgraded. Send a note to Captain Barry......
  19. Saw Linda a few years ago and the "girls" were still standing tall.
  20. Nothing if you keep the latest versions of Windows and IE. You can use another browser like Chrome or Mozilla. I don't like the other browsers so I will "live with IE" and being unable to quote or copy/paste.
  21. Likely new version of IE. I have the same problem on my new laptop. The desktop at the farm uses WIN7 and IE9....no issues. I have not tried downloading an earlier version of IE (pre 11).
  22. Are you using WIN 8.1 with IE 11?
  23. Paul, I am out of "likes" but I like it!
  24. Add MHs and fully nekkid wimmens to your list.
