  1. Filters become more efficient as they "catch" material. The pores get smaller and therefore stop more material. Have a working restriction indicator per MACKS.
  2. Happy Belated birthday Superdog! I do not log on often since many of the posts have no interest or do not relate to Mack or trucks. But I do log on for something worthwhile. To quote another ex-BMTer "tired of the political BS". I do not do FB nor any other social media, they are a total waste of time in my opinion.
  3. Vlad, Happy Birthday and many more! Enjoy your day!
  4. Contact info at the bottom of the main page or send him a private message. Best is to call the number listed, ask for Barry, and explain your issue. There is also a link to their site in the Market Place area of the forum.
  5. Here is the only pic I could find of my shift linkage. I don't see that bracket on my MH. I will not have access to my MH for another couple weeks. What transmission do you have? Mine is a T2050 5 speed.
  6. Have you tried contacting Barry at Watt's Truck Center (the sponsor of this forum)?
  7. Tom, Happy Birthday and many more! Enjoy your day.
  8. Dan, Happy Birthday and many more. Enjoy your day!
  9. Rob, Happy Birthday and many more! Enjoy your day!
  10. A few more of the Shell Starship. The windshield is about five (5) feet from the dash. Imagine washing the inside of the windshield. The Ford panel van was my favorite of the show.
  11. Pics of Dave's new "baby"...a 1937 Studebaker.
  12. Talked with Dave (maint1) at MATS on Thursday and the museum is safe. It is a separate entity (not for profit) . He said there is an expansion planned for this year along with relocating the "restoration" shop back to the museum. He has "semi-retired", working only 40-60 hours a week rather than 80 hours per week. And the reason you don't see him on here is "tired of the political BS". Amen!
  13. Me too and I promise not to smoke a cigar! Meatloaf, brats, Italian sausage, hot dogs, burgers.......

    Cigars..

As many of you know, I am a cheap old fart. Nothing but the best when it comes to cigars...Swisher Sweets Perfecto and Good Times cigarillos. I did smoke a pipe many years ago and bought my tobacco from Tender Box (special blend). No TBs in my area anymore.
  15. The Keystone Chapter ATCA Truck show will be held Friday July 20th starting at 12noon and ending on Saturday July 21 at 5pm. 17. Happy Birthday. Hope it was a good one. I plan to be in Lexington in May, look me up if you attend.
  18. Hat, I went out and looked for a cake but all I could find were boob cakes. Enjoy!
  19. Happy Birthday and many more! Enjoy your day. I am sure someone will send you a cake!
  20. Facebook, Twitter, and other such crap will be the downfall of this great (err once great) country! You hardly see anyone that does not have a smartphone in their face with busy thumbs (driving, walking, or sitting). One of my many peeves is when you are talking with someone they have to check their smartphone. I was taught that the person who is face-to-face with you is more important than any phone calls, emails, etc. (unless it is an emergency). Our society is going down the crapper at a high rate of speed!
  21. Modern engine is used for backup in case steam locomotive has issues. Also, the backup may be used in areas that do not allow the steam loco to power the train. Likely the Diesel unit is also used for "hotel power" for the cars. Love the sound of a steam loco working and the whistle....almost a mini woody. I watch many vids of locos (steam and Diesel) on the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, PA. Vaguely remember the last steam locos passing thru Altoona when I was a young boy. Below is a nice vid of steam on the curve. Note: the locos on the back are pushers used to help the train over the mountain.
  22. Vinny, Happy Birthday and many more. Enjoy your day....working on the U! Seems like yesterday you were only a young pup wet behind the ears but wait you are still a young pup. Hope you are doing well and hope to see you at a Mack show this summer.
  23. "We've gotten" Perhaps they need to take an English class. "worth everyone"...doesn't anyone proof read before pushing the SEND button? Nice looking truck/setup. BTW, where are the scantily clad women? Remember, pics or it didn't happen.
  24. Welcome! Eastern OH is a LARGE area. Can you be more specific in your location? Thanks!
