  1. Install glad hand seals with screen inserts to prevent nests in the air lines.
  2. 40psi boost? What is your exhaust temperature? Spec for 250hp shows 25psi at rated load/speed (300hp - 28psi).
  3. Larry, Sent you a PM. Ken
  4. Engine tag shows E7-250 (not Maxidyne EM7-250). According to the 1993 Engine Spec Manual, the E7-250 was only offered in mechanical (no V-MAC). Since I do not have a 1995 manual, I don't know if the E7-250 was offered with V-MAC. I can't tell from the engine tag if your engine is a V-MAC. E7-250 operating range is 1200-1950 and max torque is 975lbft. If you want to go to 300hp (1950rpm & 1083lbft), you will need different pump setting, injectors, and turbo. Again this is based on the 1993 manual information. Is there an electrical wiring harness on the back of the injection pump? That would indicate a V-MAC. Post pic if possible.
  5. Being a 1995...is it a V-MAC? Is it a Maxidyne EM7-250? If so, the EM7-250, EM7-275, and EM7-300 use the same turbo, fuel pump, and injectors. However you would need to reprogram the V-MAC data file. Max torque is 1190, 1305, 1425 at 1020rpm respectively. Operating range for all three is 1020-1750rpm. If you want to increase the operating range, you will likely need a new turbo and injectors (and reprogram). If you can get a copy of the 1995 Mack Engine Tune-Up Specifications manual #5-305, it will show you the various ratings available for the E7 engine and component part numbers. The info shown is from a 1993 manual which I bought off fleabay.
  6. Nice pics and some fine ass-ets too!
  7. Loadstar, Thanks for investigating. It is not listed under "new listings" (where it previously was located) nor "used recuse trucks". Perhaps they don't want anyone to see it. I don't partronize or contact sites/people that can't list the price.
  8. Leslie, Can't help with the filter location but it sounds like you might be able to simplify your hose routing. Perhaps you are "sucking air" at one of the many connections. Some fuel systems have the primary filter between the tank and transfer pump and the final (secondary) filter between the transfer and injection pumps. It is easier to "pull" the fuel through a "course" filter and "push" the fuel through a "fine" filter.
  9. Yes, my 1992 MH612 is an EM7-300 VMAC I.
  10. MH no longer listed on Fenton's site. Anyone here buy it?
  11. Barry, Received my calendar today. Very Nice!!! Heavy paper and lots of good lookin' trucks! I like the layout.. 3 trucks each month.. not just 1. A must buy for any "trucknut"!
  12. Larry, Thanks for the offer. If it were in OH or even at the PA farm but it is about 1hr15mins one way. It takes all day just to do/check one small thing.
  13. Thanks for the offer but not dragging it out and transporting to OH. I hooked up a portable gasoline tank and small 4psi transfer pump. It hydraulic locked (with gasoline) and when I pulled the spark plugs to clear the cylinders I got a face full of gasoline. If it is not worth much it can go to the salvage yard with the rest of the RV. Likely all the gasoline is now in the crankcase. I "screwed" with it long enough and just seems to be one thing after another. I don't need any more "sinking" fund projects.
  14. I recently bought a 1977 motor home that sat for about seven (7) years and plans were to remove the generator to use on my trailer. Long story short the generator needs the carburetor rebuilt/replaced and a new/rebuilt electric fuel transfer pump. The START/STOP switch does not work. I replaced some corroded wires/connectors but still cannot get it to work. It does however have spark (replaced condenser). Rather than spend more time (and money) on it, I am going to offer it for sale. I will eventually post on CL and fleaBay. The generator is still in the motor home and will need to be removed. It is located near Centre Hall, PA. If anyone is interested, send me a PM. Here are the generator specs and pics. Make: Onan Model: 4.0 BF-2CR/16000B Voltage: 120/240 Amps: 33/16
  15. Congrats Carl (and your wife) on being expecting grandparents. How are things in Charleston? Wifey and I are planning to spend a few days there November 2-4. We are staying at the Residence Inn in North Charleston with plans to visit Drayton Hall and downtown/Market.
  16. I would use the same weight gear oil in both axles. Why two (2) different weights?
  17. So that is what Ron looks like with a low cut top and without the cap!
  18. Been thinking about Mark too. Hope all is well.
  19. Tom, Nice pics but I do not see a "Lane Steel" truck.
  20. The cam lift and duration controls the pressure and length of "squirt". The amount of fuel is metered by the scroll on the individual injection pumps which is controlled by the governor. The pump is timed for the start of injection so the fuel combusts at the correct interval.
  21. Larry, I was thinking of Perry Diesel. Contact Barry @ Watt. He might have a suggestion. I don't think Cross Truck does pumps but might be worth a call. There is a shop in Akron (on Arlington south of 224) that does pumps. I will try to find their contact information. UPDATE: Yes R&R Engine & Machine on Swartz. Surprised they are not able to reset. Perhaps someone can supply a part number.
  22. A hight amp alternator should okay as long as they match. I recently replaced my 100amp Remy with a Remy 140amp. Bigger is okay but again, make sure the mounting and terminals are the same. I am no expert but just going on my experience. Good luck!
  23. My offer for the MH Rescue truck was turned down. They are going to use Fenton Fire Equipment to market the truck. Good luck to whom ever buys it. BTW, Christmas is in a couple months. So if anyone is looking for a present to buy me.....this could be it.
  24. Yes, Marcel's truck....very nice! Who else's truck is on the calendar?
  25. Leslie, If you want to take a road trip to NE, let me know. We would have to do it soon before the wwwwwhite stuff flies. My November schedule is open.
