  1. If it is a 12V system, yes...3 12V Group 31 connected in series (+ to + and - to -) would do fine.
  2. The State boys were out in full force this morning on Route 22 east of Pu-tittsburgh.
  3. Depends on the location of the beard....oops!
  4. I was told by the guy at Rohr's the trucks would sell after the real estate. If you are really interested in the trucks, contact the auctioneer. Likely there is enough small stuff (tools, manuals, etc.) that will take all day to sell. P.S. On a quiet night in Ohio you can hear metal rusting.
  5. Welcome! BTW, what is a FNG?
  6. I buy my blast media from TP Tools in Canfield, OH.
  7. Are these wimmin in Windfall?
  8. Yes I heard it run on Saturday. Not alot of smoke, sounded good. The tires are good but I am sure they are OLD and may be flat spotted. Spare tire/wheel on the back of the wrecker. Likely make it to NJ on a cold day and slow speed (not to heat the tires). I did not look at the fuel but it is probably old too.
  9. I use Sears Diehard battery maintainers. I only had 1 or 2 Sears go bad in 20+ years. You can buy them on sale for $20. Cheaper than replacing batteries. Amazon usually has good prices on Battery Tender brands.
  10. Ben I think David was just making an "overall" observation. There are always exceptions. I am happy to hear your side and wish there were more "young" people like you. Sounds like your parents taught you well. And then there is Vinny - he seems like a nice guy.
  11. Single axle B75 up for auction on Saturday March 2nd. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/29962-b75-up-for-auction/
  12. I use JD batteries in my JD tractors, Bulldog brand (not Mack) currently in the MH, and Delco in my GM vehicles. I still have the OE battery in my Grand Cherokee, not sure what brand to use for replacement. I keep battery maintainers on all my "seasonal use" vehicles, that seems to help them last longer. I don't want to jinx myself but the batteries in one tractor are OLD. I think Exide makes JD batteries and East Penn (Deka) makes Mack. When I buy a battery, I look at CCA, price, warranty, and US made.
  13. Yes, we had a party line too before the dial tone private line...."rubbering" was the word used to listen in on other conversations.
  14. Dilbert....my favorite comic. It is amazing how true most of them are to real life.
  15. She needs to lose the beard.
  16. Vinny - any warts on your hands? Made you look didn't I?
  17. Damn!!!
  18. I agree with Larry...lots of rust and bondo. VIN B753T3064. The auction is Saturday March 2nd. Trucks sell after the real estate (current agenda) - real estate sells at noon. The gas station is a frickin' museum that is for sure. Some B pics...
  19. I grew up on a farm. Up every morning to feed the livestock, off to school, and then tend the livestock in the evening. Our "vacation" was a day trip so we could be back in time to do the evening chores. We had a B&W TV and could only get one station (if the wind was blowing in the right direction). And for "entertainment" the Sears and Robust, Monkey Wards, and Jacque Penney catalogs. Original phone was a party line with a real operator to place the call. Eventually the phone was "upgraded" to a dial tone and rotary dial. I was a senior in college when the first electronic calculator (HP35) was marketed and it was $595. Until then I used a slide rule. If I could turn back the clock it would be to 1970...MUSCLE CARS!!!! A Plymouth Cuda with a real 426ci HEMI was about $4000 loaded (not to mention Road Runner, GTX, Superbird, Charger, Challenger, GTS, Super Bee, R/T, Coronet, Boss 302, Mach I, Z28, SS, etc.). Oh and we had NO air conditioning in the summer. Does anyone remember using an outhouse? Did not have "indoor plumbing" until I was in high school.
  20. Post it in the Wiki section
  21. Only one way to find out if it will make the trip. BTW, I know of a pup trailer to hook on the back (at least it would be a few miles closer to PA).
