  2. I'm Selling my 1981 Mack CF Firetruck, I'm located in Hartford, NY - Asking $6,000 obo • MACK MAXIDYNE diesel engine • ALLISON AUTO transmission • WATEROUS 1,250 PUMP • 500 Gallon TANK • 21,741 MILES
  3. So in theory - can i replace the (4) 6v batteries with (2) 12v batteries?
  4. I recently acquired a 1980 Mack CF Fire-Truck, looks like the batteries are dead. There is are (4) 6-Volt, 7D-VHD 940 CCA Batteries. I notice that on top the battery was connected to the Pos and Neg Poles and on the bottom the "Positive was connected to the Negative" with a short jumper cable, is this normal? Also, it looks like Interstate discontinued the 7D batteries - was wondering if anyone had any sugestions? Picture of batteries is attached. Thanks for the help! -Dan
