  1. Brilliantly engineered and brilliant truck are two different things. Us engineers always have a "better" idea.
  2. Someone on BMT buy it????
  3. David - I agree, this one smells. At least there are phone numbers to call...local police station or "cat" house? Truck looks too good to sell for $3000. If it were closer I might be interested. I should call and listen to his "story".
  4. CDL test requires backing in straight line, backing into another lane, and backing into a loading dock. An optional backing test is parallel parking. Backing on a "test" course is easier than real world. That is why I want a short trailer but I have been told short trailers have their issues too.
  5. Saw this listed on eBay...Buy Now Price $3000 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Flat-Nose-Mack-Tractor-MH6-/171014995688?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item27d149bee8
  6. JD thatcher and blade look nice. Too bad the JD blade will not fit my garden tractor.
  7. Mike, Nice trucks! Let me know if you need a place to park them.
  8. Seen it before but NEVER get tired of watching it again.
  9. Good to hear you finally received the machine and it is in nice condition.
  10. Finally stopped and took some pics of the two (2) Mack off-highway trucks at MP45 (east bound side).
  11. I did not go out back to see the "shiny" trucks. Lots of people in attendence. First time I saw the main building full and the far building next to the west arena full. Great turnout...I hope this is a good sign for the business. Have an idea for a modified golf cart...
  12. Sorry to hear of your misfortunes. When I was in college I went to the car dealer to get some parts for my car. I romped on the throttle as I pulled into the parking lot but when I went to stop, I noticed a patch of ice. I slid into the side of a new car and bashed the passenger door in with my front bumper. I was more upset than the new car manager. Didn't do anything to my car. As they say...doo doo happens!
  13. At least the important part is right side up.
  14. Yes all HD engines are sleeved. Some of the small LD engines are not sleeved.
  15. Found these this morning in the far corner...ATHS exhibit. I must of had the camera upside down when I took these pics.
  16. Then the moral of the story is DON'T use a mobile device to post pics.
  17. and no bull shit please!
  18. I am getting tired of seeing posts with upside down pictures. When you post pictures and/or type a message...do you preview the post before sending? If not, maybe you should. If the picture from your "device" is upside down, there are several free photo editing programs you can use to correct the image. I try to make sure my posts look okay and check spelling and grammar before posting (I do sometimes misspell words on purpose). Just because I have a college degree does not make me the best speller nor grammatical person. At the very least I preview my posts, reread, and correct obvious mistakes.. We are all human and make mistakes but upside down pictures should not be that difficult to catch or post correctly. When someone posts images that are upside down, usually someone else corrects the mistake. Save us all time by making sure our posts are the best we can do. Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes or hurt feelings. End of rant!
  19. Getting tired of reading the same thing. If we all bought 100% USA made products by 100% USA owned companies, we would not own anything!!
  20. Saw some Windfall girls today but no pics. Years ago I was not shy about taking pics of good looking booth babes but getting "gun shy" in my old age. I will try to get a few pics on Friday. Only saw two (2) antique trucks.
  21. Drunk sluts......Mack trucks.....hmmm..... Black f-me boots and thigh highs.....yum yum!
  22. Thanks for the heads up. IFTA has refused on several occassions to issue me a fuel sticker. I had one years ago for a previous truck and they cancelled it because I did not drive very many miles. The MH is in PA (licensed in OH) and is currently only being operated in PA. Been on the PA turnpike many times and never questioned. Antique plated vehicles do not need a fuel sticker. I have a ATHS letter somewhere that exempts antique vehicles. Do motor homes need a fuel sticker? Another 4 years and I can license the MH as an antique/historical vehicle. Can you send me a link or information on the non-commercial DOT?
  23. Never leave home without it! Never know when one might see some girls from Windfall nice looking trucks.
