    Ron, And I thought the "bang" was something wrong...guess not. Is there an adjustment for the sweep? My driver's side hits the outside window rubber. Are the Trico motors a direct replacement? Are they available, P/N?

    Might be a 3306 but I don't think they were available in a L9000.

    The only one I ever saw was in 1990. Looked at a B in Lancaster, PA that had the fiberglass hood/fenders.

    Yes, same here in the States. Some will actually sell parts at reasonable prices but most want an arm and leg. I am one of those people who if the price is not reasonable, they can keep it.

    Could be a heater that uses engine coolant...is one set of hoses connected to the engine block?

    The General was built before the CH, so the CH looks more like a General. I don't remember but did the General predate the Superliner? The initial design of the CH resembled both the General and Louisville.

    I fill the new oil filters with clean oil before spinning them on. Same with new fuel filters only use clean Diesel fuel.

    If this is true, Volvo sure screwed Mack by moving them out of their WHQ in Allentown and the test center? Nothing on the internet so far this morning. I am going to raise the BS flag until I see more proof.

    Welcome! Wow that is one LONG sentence! Use an API approved engine oil (CJ-4 is the current classification). 15W-40 is the typical weight oil to use. If it is going to be used in the winter and sit outside, I recommend either 10W-30 or 5W-40. I use Mack branded filters.
