  1. Hmmm, 4th time....maybe you better not go again! Seriously...congrats and hope it is healthy!
  2. Ron, I have seen the air operated RH window setup. It is on my list along with air operated RH door lock. I checked into the parts and if I remember correctly, some of the parts are NLA. I will likely have to find parts from a used truck. P.S. Check you PMsg. I sent you a note about my operational issue.
  3. While rumaging thru my many stacks of crap reference material I came across this Service Training manual dated 10 1985 (ASO60-7M-1085). It is 24 pages and shows all the MH connections and locations in addition to wiring ID and service hints. Of particular interest to me is the sleeper wiring harness. The book states the sleeper wiring harness (speakers and accessories) is only found with the optional Level 3 trim (and I would think Level 4). A separate harness is used for the cab roof and it appears the center dome/map light connector is present. The dome lamps in the sleeper is a separate harness. I will have to look at my MH, if I am lucky the harness was standard on later years. Perhaps someone with a Level 3 or 4 trim has a part number for this harness. BTW, the connector (9 pin) is located in the RH side of the sleeper roof. If anyone needs info I will try to copy sections of the book. Does anyone know if there is a more recent version of this manual that covers the E7 V-Mac?
  4. It seems Mack's "china connection" does not make parts like original. I am on my second driver's side window crank. The knob is held on by a spiral pin pressed into the rubber-like knob. The first one lasted about two (2) times and now the knob is about to fall off the second one. The last one I bought cost about $26. I have seen "boxes" that mount over the crank stud. There are also kits that mount inside the door cavity. Has anyone coverted their manual window crank to electric? If so, what did you use? Did the early CHs with fiberglas doors use/offer electric driver and passenger windows? Thanks for your help!
  5. Good looking Cruiseliner. Needs work but price is reasonable.
  6. Welcome!
  7. Personally I think the E7 is a better engine.
  8. Yea, nice memorabilia but mine will not be in my pocket. It will be next to my other Mack items.
  9. Actually there were a total of six (6) but who's counting. Maybe I should have asked for a quick polish?
  10. GD, you have a valid point....How about "Best Looking A$$ In a Pair of Jeans"????
  11. Doug - in your defense, you were not the only "kid". Next time, we all wear sunglasses to T-K. That should attract some attention!
  12. In honor of one of our esteemed BMT members "other dog", a new show category has been estabished "Best A$$ ". Here is my nomination...
  13. Doug - I did not know you had a trailer!
  14. Starting a new post for 2013 Trucktoberfest pictures. Another GREAT show! Thanks to Mack and the people at the Mack Museum for hosting this event. The weather was nice (sunny with cool breeze) but all-in-all a GREAT day! The only "glitch" was the parade. A few of us decided to get in line early. Well that was a mistake. As several decided to "jump the gun" and start the parade early. NOTE: I was not one of them. Don had to flag in the group. Don was not a happy camper (SORRY DON!!!). However, the parade started early so we could start for home. I arrived home about 8p. The only issue was I stopped by Love's Truck Stop on I-78 for a splash of fuel. The State was repaving the ramps. The west bound ramp was closed so I had to drive seven (7) miles east and turn around. This added about 30 minutes to my trip. But bottomline is I made it home SAFELY. 15. I like the looks of the chrome rim but also prefer aluminum. Would an aluminum rim work on a Dayton spider or does it have to be steel? Has anyone tried "chrome" paint?
  16. On Friday I helped Doug move some new Macks (6 if I remember correctly) for display at Trucktoberfest. All of them were AUTO!
  17. Actually it was me keeping an eye on Doug. He was like a kid in a candy shop!
  18. Some things you have to live with!
  19. She had to bring in "reinforcements" to handle the ole Farmer!
  20. This pose makes her cleavage look bigger. I told Doug to try blowing on the valves to inflate them.
  21. PM me the "local watering hole". I may have to stop in for a "cup of coffee".
  22. I am going for "dessert". And of course to see the BMT crowd.
  23. Too dang cold to be workin' in a bikini. Today with snow flurries and cold wind I had flannel jeans, sweatshirt, cap, and gloves on while spit shinning the trailer.
