  1. Are MR cabs available in your area? Here they are all trash trucks.. and in rough shape.. Just curious..
  2. JoeH?? I was looking for the thread with your MR. I was curious how it is coming along.. Jojo
  3. Hey there Newbie.. Welcome to the Dog House... Lots of smart guys here..
  4. for what its worth... I cant tell you how many heads I have installed on Mack engines.. Its got to be around 100.. even when I do get to see the truck a few months or a year later, I would look for leaks, with the acception of an occasional coolant hose drip, here and there, all good.. Glad you guys agree.. Jojo
  5. lets not forget the 10 million new Biden voters that walked into our southern border..
  6. sorry Hippie... It's rigged... We All know it.. I truly hope I am WRONG!!!
  7. ok.. so I was reluctant to post what I do.. but terry opened the door.... 99 percent of the engines I have rebuilt were leaving the shop never to be seen again... (hopefully) ..... I would add 10 lbft to the head bolts... (E-7/E-Tech) 210-215 lbft. total torque, with a torque wrench, and knowing how the bolts feel.. ''you can feel it if it is to loose or getting too tight.. I have not had a report of a leak or other issue's with my wicked way
  8. so no Americans were released from Hamas today, but NBC news says J.B. is working on it.... Bull Sh!T...... He will pay big money instead of prisoner trade, just like when He paid gazillions for that Brittany Griener thing, who plays basketball... B.F.D.. Biden doesnt care about US... Real American's.. I bet he wins again next November...
  9. black smoke and hard starting... what does it do it with the C.A.C. boots off?? do you pump the hand primer to see if there is pressure on the fuel galleries? Jojo
  10. Damned if I know..... does it keep re-producing in the fridge?? making more turkey to put in the freezer?
  11. that picture (of The Turkey) was on our local news today.. It is from L.A. California..
  12. Once again...... Oh My God !!!
  13. ok, Heres another option,,, since you have a PTO cover on each side of the transmission, you can install 2 PTO's.. They make a ''reverser'' that you can mount on the transmission, then mount the PTO to it.. Yes it does take up about the same space as the PTO it self. I have done this a couple of times. We used to have a tractor that had a frame mounted blower for the dry bulk trailers, and I added a seperate PTO to operate the dump trailer.. I wish I had taken pictures of that installation.. https://www.munciepower.com/software/power?msclkid=369284dbc47b196aa9b4e18440d958b3 See if this web site will help you spec out the PTO you need..
  14. I just finished my cooking chores for right now.... Going out to my shop to tinker.. It's just my Wife and I so.... basically,, it's Thursday... Have a Blessed Day Guy's,, Jojo
  15. I dont remember his application, ( He posted before on this) but for me PTO's were for dumps,(trucks and trailers) and blowers on dry bulk tankers, and detachables, and I guess a few other types, .. When I was driving dump trucks I was in R's and DM's, with twin sticks and a throttle pedal, so PTO speed was ''ON ME".. ( gear selection and my foot) .. the PTO's were either Muncie or Chelsea... I dont know that I have the knowledge for this one...
  16. what are your thoughts on lubing the exposed threads on the u-bolts, and loosen then re-torque each nut individually? when you back them off you can squirt some oil between the nut and the washer to insure full torque is applied to the nut.. Jojo
  17. Looks like the re-man center didn't do its job with the data plate, I'm guessing it was rebuilt in 1990, the year that the E-7 came out.. maybe Mack can tell you what it is using the 11GBA number.. although, terry did say what it is... Looks good to me..
  18. what does the data plate behind the injection pump say.. I just see an E-6, 2 valve .. ENDT means engine, diesel , turbo..
  19. that wire harness is wrapped really well.. I would hope that at most you have pinched wires,, and not severed wires.. no matter,,, you can read the code on the wires to find the match to two severed ends slip on some heat shrink, and solder them back together.. .. just sayin; , Jojo
  20. oh hell,,, you are smart enough to fix the wires..
