  2. When you had the valve covers off, did you remove the rocker shafts and use a small straight edge to check valve stem height? Do you know which cylinder is acting up? Did you pull the engine brake celenoids to inspect the sealing rings, are all the push rods properly seated in the lifters? Ok... Ill stop here. Good luck. Oopps, 1 more thing... Are the valve bridges set evenly to .010" ? Ok thats it ..

  13. Just as we learned how to work on these Big Mack Trucks,, people can learn how to program and work on robots... American jobs will be here for a long time.
  14. Bob,, So your saying that people have a job to do???
  15. Come on man..... Robots are here, but people need to be employed to manage it all. It will just mean that people need an education.. not unlike anything we have had to learn to be good at what we do...

  21. Im not sure on the gap size for a Lipe clutch, but the newer ones are set to 1/2" between clutch brake and throughout bearing, and 1/8" between fork tips and throughout bearing. Sorry i dont know the metric numbers . I guess 13 mm and 3 mm...
  22. Set the clutch gaps first, then, if needed go to the arm.
  23. I dont know.... Gracey doesnt seem impressed. I bet she cant wait to get back in her R Model...
  24. Can you use a propane torch with care to heat the old gasket to soften it up.
  25. Bob.... I did not use sealer at this time. When i am sure that i will not remove the covers again, i may put a light coating on one side of the gasket, however, the rubber gaskets were good quality.
