    Neat idea, if its still padded inside , it just be cozy. One of those small coleman heaters would probably do the trick.. i never had an ice shack, the few times i went ice fishing I tried to enjoy it, but it wasnt for me. Id probably like it today though..

    Thanks again GW. I am fine with my current oil pressure. I should have added this: that is the reading on the original gauge with the original style pressure sender. I was happy that it worked. I will certainly put a gauge on it next time i start it. I assume i can use any of the ports along the pan rail in line with the oil pressure sender..

    Thank you GW.. I will give consideration to what you say. The current system does work. I guess as long as sock filters are still around i can leave it like it is. The oils pressure range was 15-35 psi as it sits. I dont know what it is supposed to be. I dont have a good shop manual for the engine. Not yet anyway..

    Thank you Paul. I have owned for 3 years. I do hope to spend a week or so putting the wiring back in it. The paint is ok. I could probably just wax it. I love the simplicity of the truck. When i did drive it around the block a few times, i was impressed with the torque it has. It will put you back in the seat for a second when i step on it. Im think about adding a spin-on oil filter somewhere hidden from view so i dont take away from the original look of the engine, of course when i put an alternator on it, it will look modern. I cant afford the alternator that looks like the original generator, at least not now..

    The Biden Klan is doubling down on The Bird Flu, and salmonella recalls. So more news about cattle and poultry having bird flu, and major egg dist. has salmonella in the eggs, and they managed to find 1 person with bird flew. I think in Louisiana.. The Klan is trying hard to destroy farmers, and farming all together, accept for marijuana farms. I would not be suprised if gov inspectors bring diseases in bottles to the farms during FDA inspections. Or however they visit farms.. Ok tjc. Where's my shipment of tin foil??

    So none of the pulleys are leaning slightly? Have you tried the serp belt that has the cross hatching on the back side?

    I have some knowledge, not fluent. This starter was doing fine for a while. I think age is what ailed it. No biggie really. Thanks for the input..

    Thanks J.C. yes Delco, itis old and melted the connection inside where the post is. I can geta rebuild kit for it, i just havent ordered it. Im changing it to 12 volt neg.ground, the parts are for a 6 volt starter. As good as it starts and runs, i will likely just buy that kit. I have had a string of other repairs to do on my house and our other small trucks, so this one takes a back seat.

    Thats where it belongs... We cant have white girls be number. 1... There should be some crying coming out about Kaitlin Clark. She was voted A.P.'s Female athlete of the year.. i cant believe they said, "female"... K.C. was taking a beating in every college game, and pro games, by non-white players, and rarely a penalty called. I watched about 8 games or so with her because i was proud of her.. She is a victim of racism for sure. Even a WNBA big wig took issue with K.C.'s award. Then, K.C. had to go and say something stupid, but hopefully, she stops that junk. She is a great Baller..
