I have some ambacs and I think a Robert Bosch, none have the adapter. Are you sure you need it?

Mine runs 20 psi at idle and about 65 psi at 1600 once the engine is hot. 251k miles, 18,700 hours.

Just fired up my 1995 e7-350, "cold" it's running 75psi oil pressure at idle. After a few minutes running it's at 60psi, pressure goes to almost 90 at 1600rpms. Maybe your pressure relief spring is fatigued or broken.

Tunes make being stuck in traffic not so bad. Sitting in a nice looking truck makes it even better.

What speed is it idling at? Should be about 650 rpms. If it's lower than that then bump it up.

Weird. I have a 1981 2 valve endt676 engine sitting on the shelf. Same block, but I don't think it uses that. I'll see if my 1988 em6-300l uses one...

Lot of drooling going on over your pictures. You're doing a great job with that truck, it's going to look good out in the sun. Dual stacks are very nicely assembled and mounted. Can't wait to hear how it pulls with that transmission!

That's a nice superliner, but I'll take that R model sleeper over it every day of the week. Except for Monday, I'll take the superliner on Monday as I've never driven one, much less a V8. Gotta try it at least once.

Bulk of it likely got caught in air tanks, they should have drain valves. You can clean lines out using Air System Alcohol, typically it's used as an antifreeze for systems without dryers. You can also disconnect and flush individual lines with the alcohol, using compressed air to blow the lines out. It's administered by pouring it directly into the compressor intake while the system is still building air pressure. (i.e. pour some in right after you start the truck, while it's still building air pressure.) Pumping the brakes will also mist the alcohol through the system.

Make sure the engine spins in the proper direction. Some bus engines the engine spins "backwards" because that's what they have to do to get the trans to spin the wheels "forward" You may have wasted money buying the engine, not real familiar with bus engines other than that some are set up to run backwards.

Square headed plug on the passenger side looks right to me.... Fill to that, put a floor jack under right hub to flood the left hub, then put the jack under the left to flood the right hub, then fill the center again.

Looks like a work stand to me! Oil pan looks like it can come off, and much taller and you won't be able to see under the valve covers! Pretty much identical to ours, except ours is set up for a forklift coming in the side.

Your problem. Is my problem, not a hijack! I'm suspecting the "rebuilt" compressors are not actually rebuilt. I've popped at least 2 in trying to fix this, still does it. Are you sure your intake is from the boost side of the turbo? Or is it between the filter and turbo? I was hoping that turbo'ing the compressor would solve the problem, but if that's how yours is set up then it sounds like it won't.... Dryer isn't an option for me, I can't snot oil all over rich customers driveways. Frequently parked on driveways for 45 minutes, being a concrete truck...

Hey don't make fun of my 12 valve! It only smokes a pretty black cloud when you goose it, and just for a second til the turbo catches up to the fuel! And that's with 218k miles!

They could have saved themselves some money and just towed a boat anchor around to hold the blimp. They'll have to tow the granite from landing site to landing site anyways.

Could be, there's a drum behind it but doesn't look big enough to be a 55. Personally I think it's a 40g tank because it's an R40 model tank according to the label.

Courage is not the absence on fear, it is the refusal to be mastered by it. Given the reason, men of today would rise to the occasion. Look at 9/11. America came together quick and hit back. Became an ambiguous war along the way, but patriotism came back. Now we have snow flakes, for the Vietnam war we had hippies, and I don't know our societal history well enough to tell you what we had for wwI and II, but every generation has something strange about it. -

Clean battery terminals are a necessity on this new computerized crap, and it's one if the things mechanics are supposed to disconnect before doing work on an engine. And I'll bet 95 times out of 100 that the mechanic doesn't polish terminals before hooking back up. Old mechanical trucks never cared about this sort of thing but the newer stuff can be thrown off by it.
