  1. Montana left a permanent impression on me........... Coming back to Her some day.
  2. Wait it out friend......once the EPA has them equipped with DOT exhaust regeneration, DOC, DPF, SCR, DEF, ETC. they will be burning clean and crashing to Earth.
  3. Crapshoot. I'd play, daily, with turbos if I was the owner of Manders Diesel Salvage. If I was buying a turbo for my stock work truck I'd install An aftermarket stock replacement. If I was modifying the engine I'd get creative with my supplier.
  4. I called Barry Cam Service out of Minnesota. He is tooled up to rebuild and cut old production E7 and E9 cams with good success, but has no templates to cut a CCRS/AI/AC cam. He said if I brought in a pre-AI (power leash), or AC cam with the exhaust profile I want, he would build a template and "match trim" the six AI cam exhaust lobes. He would be charging time and material so not cheap for the first guy stepping up to the plate.
  5. Also hoping for a Pyro drop. 1. In my mind it would have taken 6 trips to town, 8 hours, 5 restock fees for pipes we guess ordered but couldn't use. I like the idea of having it built to exact specs by a group of guys who do it well, all day, for a (IMO) pretty good price. A couple years ago I built a gantry for pulling up deer then saw one in a magazine for less than the price of my parts. I may have been able to coat the piece-together-pipe, but if it did not hold I'd have a ball of rust by January 2018. The volume of salt used up here is really something. Currently, they liquid salt spray before a storm to stop the bond, rock salt/sand mix during the storm and rock salt after the pack-down ice sets. 2. We are running the stock AI cam.
  6. If T.G. was here she may have tongue lashed me over collusion?
  7. BMT really IS a good sight. My first month on I was shipping a divider lock-out kit to Moscow. Got schooled on Russian living, by Vlad, in the process. No trust issues you'd normally have on a blind sale.
  8. Makes my work day seem so boring, but also glad I'm not his mechanic.
  9. Yup, till the truck decides I'm too organic to hang out with.
  10. Love or Hate Her, She was a tough ol'gal, with a quick tongue, who enjoyed a fight. Keep Truck'in T.G., there are a lot of other good sights and chat rooms out there.
  11. "Who said anything about skiin'? Floatin' is all I wanna do You can climb the ladder Just don't rock the boat while I barbeque" Lil'B Town
  12. 1:30PM. Been nice to hit center-up. Too far northeast. Double weld lens.
  13. Likely going to be the same on wiring of headlights. I could double check later.
  14. Less people put on the "Biblical glasses" when contemplating AI, but it really has some deep implications. One of the characteristics separating man from the rest of creation is his love of design. Man created in the image of the Creator with an inherent desire to build, improve and look at what he has constructed with a great satisfaction, fold his arms and see that "it is good". God building intelligent man with a conscience that, if it is not numbed and stupefied, will fit him with the compassion he needs to love and care for his fellow. Man, the sinner, in turn building his own Artificially intelligent "personality", but void of love, compassion and conscience. God receiving the rejection of his created, but lovingly offering up Christ for a reuniting and healing of a relationship lost. Man, the sinner, unable to offer anything to stop his creations rejection or finding himself completely unable to reason with it. It would be a fitting end for mankind, but it is not consistent with Revelation. NLV Daniel 12:4 "But as for you, Daniel, keep these words hidden and lock up the Book until the end of time. Many will travel here and there and knowledge will be more and more.”
  15. Ssssssshhhhhhhh....what V8? He could have just enrolled in a free membership to BMT and eventually become a resident know-it-all. Gotta live with your choices.
  16. I'd start by haggling about paying "too much" for an E7.
  17. Also recommend using the Bulldog 15W-40 oil (mobil delvac 1300). We buy it for $2.68 qt from the bulk tank at our dealership. Have to pump off to our own containers, but not too much trouble. Mackpro would recall the bearing roll-a-thon from the early 2000's when Mack came up with the P1 campaign. We changed low end bearings to a tighter to get oil to the top for jake performance. We got to see all the wear character of Rotella Vs. Bulldog users on a lot of trucks. Bulldog won, much less "orange peel" displacement.
  18. This is a year 2000 publication. You don't fit any line haul one or two description. Your severe duty so you have to go by hours.
