here is Jersey quite a few dealers were sued by the fed for not destroying CFC cars, and putting them out on the lot for resale. when brought into court to have their dealer license revoked and charged with all the crimes they allegedly committed, the Judge had to drop all charges against every one of them because they never did CFC paperwork on the cars. they simply offered the CFC price as trade in on a new car. and probably 45 to 50 percent of the new cars purchased under CFC were repossessed because the purchasers could not afford the new cars in the first place but CFC let them buy them anyway. so not only did they trade in their perfectly fine used car on a new one, they then lost the new one and became carless.

the 05 granite did that. 13.5 volts, but big CLICK, then nothing when key turned. ended up being a bad battery. when a load was put on it, it would short out 2 cells dropping voltage across all 4 batteries. finally did a load test on the batteries and found the bad one. put a new one in and had no more problems with it for the 3 years we had it.

as i put it he was in a big rush to get nowhere fast.

the only thing 32 years of union membership did for me was a pension plan that is in bankruptcy, and an annuity fund that i lost over $3000,000 dollars on due to mismanagement.. i put $354,000 into the annuity fund over the years, and got $34,000 out of when i took my withdrawal card 7 years ago and invested it into my own plan which has almost doubled in 7 years. pension fund will run out of money at the end of the year leaving me with nothing. as far as i am concerned the teamsters union leadership can go have sexual relations with themselves.

this is supposed to be the last year for the T-800. the T-880 is now close to 4 years old. it is a pleasure to drive, and will boogie along with both the 500HP or 550 hp engines. even with all the pollution controls. without the pollution crap the 500HP is ridiculous with an 18 speed. just removing the pollution controls on a 2015 triaxle dump a friend netted a 3 mile per gallon increase from 4 MPG to 7MPG. the 2016 we have has the 550HP engine and an Allison automatic. it is averaging 5 MPG. it now has a little under 22,000 miles on it. empty it will pull away from most cars off a light if you feel like standing on it. loaded at 80,000 lbs it still walks away from my 05 T-800 with 500HP C-15

you will not see any of the loud mouths mention this because there is nothing in it for jus-fo-me jakson, or all-fo-me shapton. if there is nothing in it for them, it never happened.

as an example of a truck that has NOT sat around idling all day, my 05 T800 Kenworth has 269,243 miles and 5904 hours on it when parked this afternoon.

i can see that with a county truck, they get more idle time than work time. i would steer away from that truck, way too much idle time.
