  1. Any specifics for a sleeper? I never know what my scrapper buddies bring home. Big, little, tall, flat, square, or rounded corners?
  2. I put a single axle airliner air ride from a freightliner under my B and it drives and rides very nice. Mines a 4.30 gear ratio with my diesel and dueplex it maxes out at 65mph at 2300rpm with 12r 22.5 drive tires. Drives nice bobtailing but can definatly tell when it's loaded. You air ride should only take 1 airline to supply it going to the leveling valve then tee-ing off to each air bag.
  3. Could it just be turbo? Just an idea.
  4. I'm thinking chain and a mack Just drag it out. If he's a no go I'd be interested in the b67 panels for between hood & fenders if they are in better shape then mine.
  5. https://harrisburg.craigslist.org/tro/d/ton-rogers-lowboy/6593997785.html Not mine. I know nothing about it. Zip should be 17017
  6. As said above thank you to all!
  7. Wow! And I kept putting off wiring just the lights on mine.
  8. For a hobby truck unloaded personally I don't think you would have an issue with the road masters. It's not like your going to be running 2,000 miles a week loaded. Mine run straight and smooth, they are "RM185A" model. I know a guy that ran them on his covered wagon hauling steel and they lasted 1/2 as long as a $600 name brand tire, but cost 1/2 as much too. This is the wrong time of the year but closer to winter you could prob get some used drive tires that someone wants to replace. They wouldn't be good enough to work with but plenty good for a toy. Then again I think your from Florida so that may not work out at all.
  9. I wish I had the skill and nerve to cut into something that far. Looking good.
  10. Agree with everyone else 22.5 tubeless. I bought 2 new lo pro 22.5 steer tires for mine they are road master by cooper a cheep china tire. They where $300 each.
  11. I forgot about your air steering setup. My tires are in the fender when centered. I totally agree with you about bumpers being to wide for the truck. Mine came with a Pete bumper when I bought it, and it looked way out of place.
  12. Honestly if you don't mind the non mack id consider going the route I did and switch to a modern front axle. The only real fab work was the drag link from the steering box to the arm on the knuckle.
  13. Same here. The buzzer is simple, cheap, and easy to hide under the dash out of sight.
  14. Wire brush, aluminum rustoluem, and a paint brush. When I was a kid those where my tools to help my dad.
  15. Pennsylvania says my antique tag can be used occasionally for general commute, then defined occasionally as once per week.
  16. Going on what Mack Tech. said I heard a saying along time ago that stuck in my head. "God helps those that help themselves". I take that as fight for what you want and he's got your back.
  17. Yes! I was trying to remember who that happend to
  18. God bless. If you need to talk wether private or publicly I'm sure there's a lot of us here that can lend you an ear.
  19. Dead bodies? Heck he will probably find a village living in the back of the shop once he gets there.
  20. We watched a lot of the loads, the guys prob recognized us.
  21. Almost 2 years Barnhart had it locally for some extra traction moving electrical stuff for a power plant. They only used it one time though. It had a KT cummins in it and the transmission controller look like something from a boat. I had a post at the time, but i don't remember what it was called. That truck is a beast, I bet the frame rails where 3/4"
  22. Truckshop posted a very nice early cabover freightliner not along ago. It also was yellow.
  23. Happy b-day. I was gonna get my B out and do a burnout for ya, but then I realized that ain't gonna happen. Not because I haven't tried, but the truck laughed at me when I did.
