  1. I think It Is a slower rpm then an abrasive chop saw. I'll look tomorrow to see for sure.
  2. If its licensed and insured it shouldn't matter should it? My wife's the only person I get a hard time from.
  3. Seems like it sits high. It's probably that I'm just used to seeing mine, or the different grill & bumper combo. I for some reason think it had a single shifter in it. We didn't get there until early afternoon and seamed like a bunch of stuff was leaving. We never saw yours Larry or farmers roll runner either. Not a lot if time and there was a lot to see.
  4. Thanks! That's the one. I forgot about all the diamond plate. The kids and me where talking this morning and it came up.
  5. If its what I'm thinking its carbide like mine. Here's a link to the newer version of mine. https://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200641810_200641810?adv=false my blades missing a few teeth and should be replaced but still works good. It throws metal chips just Iike a wood saw. I can cut through something and pick it up without burning my hand, and its much faster compared to the abrasive saw.
  6. For any of you that where there the other year. There was a b67 there I believe purple with a sleeper and dual air cleaners. Do any of you guys that seem to have a picture of every cool truck out there happen to have one of this one? Or even know of the truck I very poorly described?
  7. I bought a saw similar a few years ago from "Northern Tool". It was their brand and I really like it. Much better then the abrasive style chop saw.
  8. I think I've seen things made to just screw on your hose to filter the water your washing with to eliminate spots. Idk if they work or not. Just remember seeing advertised somewhere.
  9. Yes my B has maxi's. it has axles from a modern freightliner under it. From whit I remember the treadle valve is it only had 2 compartments internally. The top half was wide open and all ports where supply and the bottom half where all going to the brakes. I could have the upper and lower mixed up, but they where both just open cavities with different ports all around the body.
  10. Local high school class is having their car show this weekend so I pulled my dump trl project out of the shop, and put the mack back in to do some cleaning. I got the visor cleaned up, you saw the bumper, bent up a stainless piece to cover the air cleaner mounting bolts, and gave it a bath. Once the trailer is finished I'm gonna have to break down and take the drivers door apart. I have to fix the window so it actually cranks up and down.
  11. Scrapper buddies where getting old Conway city tractors in that where specd like that with real low miles.
  12. Billy. If you started in Harrisburg and went straight north along the susquhanna river about 45 miles and turned left. Beaver springs is on route 522 about half way between the susquhanna river at selinsgrove and Lewistown.
  13. I bought a new replacement for my B on ebay awhile back and I don't think it was that expensive. I think it was an E3
  14. Same here in central Pennsylvania, and its my day off too. Problem is I slept on the couch until 3:30pm and missed most of it.
  15. I always liked helping other people spend there money. It's much easier on my wallet.
  16. we had a '78 when I was a kid. My mom, dad, sister, and me would all sit in the cab and pull a camper trl from central pa to ocean city, md every year on vacation. It was a really neat truck. http://m.dodgeconnection.com/LilRedInfo.html
  17. Didn't you learn yet? A trucks "to do list" is just like a woman's "honey do list". It never ends.
  18. Would really look good with a set of chrome 5" curved top straight stacks behind the cab on the outside of the bed. Like dodge had on the lil' red express.
  19. Sterling specific parts are getting very expensive around here. The ones we had the dash's broke apart, I think on the passenger side.
  20. my dads not happy how the bumper turned out. He said it needed sanded more with the 1000 grit wet paper before buffing. I'm happy with it Just have to do something with the ugly painted shutters.
  21. Good luck. I support your budd wheel decision.
  22. Started on the front bumper yesterday with 80 grit on the da and belt sanders. Then went to 180, 240, 400 wet, and finally 1000 wet before buffing. Then dad started with his red cutting wheel with rouge and I think 2 other steps. Still needs rubbed over by hand once stuck back on truck, but turned out pretty well. The finished pictures are under my led pole light at 5:30 this morning.
  23. Very accurate picture. I think that's the road I take to get there from my direction.
