I think they said it was cut down to haul big boulders. It was parked near my Autocar at a show last November -
Mercier's is still in business. 508-587-0600. Fred Mercier is a friend of mine, i can ask him if he works on these.

It looks like early 1967. It looks like some of the cabs had 3 door hinges and some had piano hinges, I'm pretty sure the piano hinges started with the cab changes in '67.

The dura lift and the versa lift are both good buckets but the onan genset is a total PITA to keep running and parts usually have to come from Cummins. Clutch pump or 12 volt electric over hydraulic pump is much better as is a dually truck.

I'm in the process of building one myself ( has been on hold while I rebuilt the engine in my Autocar). I'm using an 81 Chevy K20 with 37" Humvee tires. The tires are almost the same size as a 9-20 so they fill up the fenders enough so I wont have to cut the sheetmetal down. Going to build a stepside bed with B model fenders. -
Need to make some room and I don't think I will ever get to restoring this truck. I got the build sheet from the museum but I can't find it right now. I beleive it is a '62. Runs and yard drives. Needs total restoration or very good parts truck. No title but I have a rolling chassis with a title. I could make a package deal. Asking $1200 for the complete truck and $400 for the chassis. Truck is located 20 miles south of Boston.

Was part of an order of I believe 21 trucks for Hemingway Trucking New Bedford Ma. Probably had a tattletale in it. I've had 3 b67s and not one had a speedometer, just a tach. I got the info packet from the mack Museum and I can't find it now. Truck was converted to a dump by a construction company in CT.
