  1. The acorn nuts and adapters I can do but $400 plus for arms and blades is a killer.
  2. Can't miss that one I'm on the board of directors for the chapter. (Actually was talked into being president fro a couple of years when we were with ATHS Bill Semple is much better at it though, now I just make the signs and park trucks).
  3. Made some slight progress, got the windshield wiper motor mounted and linked up, not perfect sweep but it works. Mounted a 12 volt computer fan to the defroster vent as there is no provisions for a defroster on the heat/ac unit moves air pretty good for it's size. Looking for wipers arms, the wedge shaped spacers, shaft nuts etc. for the wiper shafts. I've looked everywhere for mine but they seem to have disappeared.
  4. I usually go with the guys in the photo but couldn't make it today, bit of a bummer
  5. Jim, was that today at the airfield? I see Paul Silvia leaning on the back tire
  6. Are you selling parts off the cab or the whole cab at once? Looking for windshield wiper arms, the wedge shaped spacers and the nuts for the wiper arm posts. Basically everything outside the cowl.
  7. I used to live on Foster St about 6 houses from the bakery. Rocky Marciano grew up next street over behind Nissens and Marvin Hagler's mother lives 3 house from the bakery. Boxing neighborhood.
  8. Sign company I used to work for had one with an aerial ladder on it. More than one time when it gave them some trouble on the road, you raised the ladder out of the way, tilted the cab, fixed what was wrong , dropped the cab, hopped in and drove away with the ladder in air. Mostly just a couple of phone lines taken out.
  9. Got some of them up today.
  10. Brockton 20 miles south of Boston
  11. Bought my wife a birthday present that needed a little freshening up. Today's job got pushed to tomorrow so I decided it was time to get this done so I can return to my regularly scheduled Mack project.

  12. I was going to ask if they needed a couple of old trucks for "ambiance" but kept my mouth shut when I found out it was a riot / looting scene they were filming
  13. Going to start putting them up Thursday. Gonna take pictures.
  14. Got asked to help out hanging a "few" old signs to make a downtown area look like 1967 for a movie they are filming next town over where I used to live. Fully loaded 53' trailer and 48' drop deck showed up. Looks like a whole lot more work than I expected. Actually put my Autocar to work and it's the same vintage as the signs.
  15. That's Kenny's Ford and Frank Hales B model Bob
  16. knurl them?
  17. Was parked next to this one this morning in Johnston
  18. Rebuilt the rear cab mount area with some 5" x 1/4" flatbar. Slight wear and tear on old mounts. Gotta love hockey pucks. Wanted to mount fuse box in glove box like Mack did it but wires were made for mounting near steering column.
  19. Yeah. the ez wiring looks like it going to work real nice, they made the Dolphin gauge set also. I had to use a magnifying glass to read the wires when I ran them in the right directions yesterday. The fuse box is all marked well. I got the heat / A/C kit on ebay for less than $600. I gotta ramp the pace of this little project up so I can take it to our show in October.
  20. Finally got caught up enough with work to be able to make some progress on this. painted the cab interior, got the gas pedal mounted and hooked up, bled the brakes, cut in the stereo, and got the clearance lights on . next up the pile of spaghetti hanging from the dash.
  21. Saw this one Friday. It'll buff right out.
  22. I thought it was welded to the flanges too but I think its welded to the angle mounted to the outside of the frame
  23. First time I saw them was in the late 80's haven't been down driveway since then. Forgot they were there until we went to the pet grooming place next door a few days ago. I'm surprised they haven't deteriorated more in 30 years.
  24. Three identical Whites in the woods at the edge of a farm next town over. Not sure what year they are.
