Hah- that explains your talents today...No TV, No phone etc etc. I too have my erector sets..I gave them to one of my sons in hopes he would have his son hooked on them-as he and his brother were but no luck. Erector set..a product of the A.C Gilbert Co. of New Haven Conn, who also made American Flyer trains as well as other educational "toys" like chemistry sets. My father was a contractor and he did a fair amount of work in and around their main plant. One day he came home with a product that they were testing but never produced- a building set that featured real hard clay minature bricks- they were cast with two "dimples" on top with corresponding reverse "hollows" on the bottom so the bricks would interlock- Both sons got to enjoy those and the grandkids enjoy them when they come over. I did find something that resembled an erector set this Christmas that I bought for two grandsons but nothing like the original...junk!

Well the good news is the "Commander in Chief" has taken action. 50million bbls of oil released from strategic reserve. Let's see now we use about 18 million bbls a day- so this should maybe drop the price about.........guess? tenth of a cent for a few days? And the oil wasn't free-our tax dollars did buy it. On a practical note- I track my heating oil usage- just so happens I got a delivery this morning. Prompt pay in 10 days, $2.999 gal. A year ago my "start of season" delivery was on 11/19 and the price was $1.74. In 2019, first delivery was on 11/1 at $1.72 gal. Took this asshole 11 months in power and he has wrecked the economy. And CNN will say..."it's not his fault, the world economy just was turned back on". I say bullshit to that. We were the oil goliath that was exporting oil until he turned the industry off to satisfy the progressive "squad". Cushing Oklahoma is a major crude oil storage hub with a capacity of 91 million bbls. Last year we were pumping so much crude the big problem was containment. Cushing was full! Well Joe solved THAT problem!
