  1. I've seen many with what I would call a water stain around the weep hole and slight discoloration or wet look but I would say any sign of a coolant trail leaving the hole that stays glossy I would look for another pump. some can leak when running others when shut down or hot vs. cold.
  2. Leslie : I think that's going to be too aggressive to polish your fuel tanks.......lol
  3. after dealing with idiots....... a good parts counter is damn near orgasmic ! evidently they cant figure out that they still make money to keep the doors open by selling PARTS regardless of age.
  4. welcome to the dog house! I think you will be happy with the "new dog"
  5. jones: check your grounds with one head light being brighter than the other tell me there is a poor ground or badly damaged hot wire. check where the loom hinges with the hood either one could be most likely damaged in that area.open the loom and pull each wire like your trying to pull them in two. if one is bad it will break the insulation and you will have found your problem.
  6. hummmmm.....40wt.on the kitchen table........I knew it that boys building Detroit's outta our sight!.....must be getting sloppy in your old age, Had you of said 15/40 none of us would have been any wiser! but there's only one reason for 40wt. .....DETROIT DIESEL'S............have a good one Yardo...Rob
  7. Hay Yardo your porn models have on white Lingerie!!!!!
  8. a lot of spud trucks in the Columbia basin had this arrangement they would take a f800 or c 60 size truck and then add a belt drive tag I have only seen rear tag conversions then add a 20 ft. bed to haul spuds or beets. Nice find Mark, I wonder if that could have been a factory install? and yes the man cave coffee table on the front of that thing needs to be back in the man cave!
  9. Mark: thanks, ya a 500hp. starter truck should do well as he starts into winter driving HA HA Cheney is about 150 miles from me, just a country stones throw!
  10. thanks Paul, but I get to see them in town the first of every month when they get a EBT card loaded with our tax monies.....strange I have never seen any of them on my door step when my HELP WANTED sign is out!
  11. To all of you who served THANK YOU!
  12. I guess us BMT members could of offered a larger truck!.....or perhaps a convoy, they should know we all love to HAUL ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Paul: I forgot that part of the equation, I guess it didn't pass the ph test and thus the clouds were sent over less fussy states to dump there load
  14. He's great!!!!.......................just ask him , no you nailed it ,he needs his "YES" people around him to keep him filled full of b.s. and others to keep telling him any failure is not his fault , then he needs the next crowd to tell him WHO to blame!
  15. what was its industrial application? grid roller ,or scraper can I'm guessing. Beautiful job on the restoration .
  16. Quick: that's because you don't have any water in that drought stricken state!..... I hope the upcoming cold front intercepts a monsoonal flow and dumps some snow for you guys, or at least gets you some form of moisture!
  17. would one of the other myths be A SMARTER GOVERMENT
  18. Mark: sorry to hear about your loss, wish the situation could of been different I would of liked to meet you when you were in the state, where did you deliver the truck to?...... if you don't mind me asking.
  19. I would rather drive that pete than a cookie cutter 2000 ish aerodynic fish bowl surrounded by colored plastic air foils, at least it still looks like a truck.......... but aunt hazels glasses would have to find a dumpster!
  20. Sounds like global warming did a 180..... 50 degrees here right now, in 48 hours its supposed to be at least 30 degrees cooler. I just cut more hay yesterday, guess I will freeze dry it !.... seriously I had too much regrowth on my hay fields and don't think the cows will get to all of it before it snows, so I have a guy coming from the west side of the state to make "hayliage" out of it ,will see how that goes never baled frozen hay before. any ways sounds like a good reason to kick ol'e Al in the crotch.
  21. do you notice a boost in oil pressure? take a good look at your rocker arms if your missing the plug that i'm thinking of that whole rocker shaft was under oiled.
  22. I would have never thought that so many stationary thrashers would still be in use ,there are still a few laying around in fence corners in my neck of the woods, but its been 20 years or so since we had any threshing bees to use one. Brings back good memories of time spent with my grandpa ,we always went to the thrashing bees.
  23. barn rules ....... what happens in the barn .........stays in the barn.............thank God horses cant speak English, we would never get enough money rounded up to get Ken outta jail : :BTW Mike did that mare ever start to walk correctly again? Leversole: the answer is no...... and yes that's a sight that none of us want to relive ........ thanks for making me revisit that mental image ............damn now I need some whisky!
