  1. Ken I would consider it but yardo would never buy me a beer at the kilt if I drove a green leaker that far. further more I wouldn't be able to hear jack s- it for 2-3 years after a 3-4 daytrip to Penn. Ken loaning you a grand is no problem.......... driving a green leaker is the better plan is you need to come visit and then drive that trophy home! i'll even through in a 5 gal. bucket of oil............... a $60.00 value how can you pass that up .........
  2. mack paul : if you ever come to visit make sure them damn ants stay In your home land! I don't need no tire eating ants here! thanks for the comments, never knew such hungry critters existed.
  3. yes if the style is the same as thomas just posted the bolt must be removed then drive a chisel into the opening and should come right off. if on a tapered shaft apply a puller and preheat a area about the size of a quarter and it should "pop" off if not hold a 6-10 lb. hammer in one side and . strike with a 4-6 lb,180 degrees opposing and it should come loose.
  4. poor kid don't stand a chance :tease:grand pa will set the course as too what he needs to see! I'm only joking congratulations Mike
  5. well at least you didn't have a flatbed out of Wiggins! them damn malaria germs can get ugly! glad you missed the feed store! hopefully Earl was behind you!
  6. don't ya just love surprises!......don't worry I wont forward these photos to the labor and industries folks I would hate to see you fined for a unsupported trench wall exceeding 3 vertical feet in class c soils..........consider this my Christmas present to you
  7. MERRY CHRISTMAS TOO ALL!!!!!..........may Santas bag of toys filled you stockings !.........hope everyone is well and may your beer can never go dry in the new year!.......and too the people at the Pennsylvania turnpike authority.....please return my pilots license..... I promise to not hang out with Ken or Randy or Mike in your state in the new year!
  8. Mark I'm gonna tell Mrs.Vision that your getting glue all over her quilt block cutting board....don't ask me how I was able to recognize what one is :whistling:I used to do a lot of models as a kid ......later I "overhauled" some to make what I wanted ,like the paystar 5000 log truck got turned in a off hwy. low boy tractor to haul my d8h the log gear went on the v12 ken worth to look like one we had in town. my pete 359 got the frame stretched to make room for the "custom 72" sleeper" and became a tri drive to boot. I guess I had to mechanic on every thing at that age!
  9. we had a rw713 with nuway that truck was a 1988
  10. Cordoba hell amc Grimmlin!
  11. this was a engineered build. the county said any thing over 15'11" must be engenered. but a machine shed falls into the ag, exempt category so after paying 500.00 bucks for the engineer to say my idea was plenty strong, I decided it would be a machine shed , no building permit or inspections. as far as the Dry sprinkler system I have installed several and if the insurance co. makes it worth my while I could consider it. i'm lucky enough to have enough water supply (1000 gpm spring) but would need to add a booster pump. as for the runway too many power lines next to the shop.............helipad .......hummmm? ants.......don't have to worry about no stinking ants. the posts are 8x8's and set in 4.5 sack mix 30 inches deep with another 18" to go on top plus rebar thru the posts, (my thickened edge will tie into the existing postcrete.) plus the leanto's will take any "rack" out of the building. I also went 15lbs. heaver in snow load on the trusses than what is required for this area. steel would have been nice but the electric wiring cost go up a bunch (all in conduit) by code. wood frame\pole can be done in romex. attached is a photo of the shop I built at my place in Moses lake it was a 36x40x16 built the about the same using 6x8 posts and in a high wind load area. ( several times I thought the 14x16 door was going to blow in) it sits on a ridge top , with zero protection. the new one is a lot better off that way! just as long as we get it finished before it gets put to the test!
  12. I got within a hundred miles of it today.............and thought I could smell OIL
  13. I'm going with the DAILY DUMB ASS award I bet the filter restriction indicator in that pete is PEGGED!...............the only thing getting less air than the engine, would be the guy who punched the dump button! ..........if it was my truck.
  14. as you can see the earth work was a real bitch, I got it close with the d45 komatsu then borrowed my buddy Rogers pc 220-7 ( sorry no pics) and over dug the foot print about 1 1/2 feet and got out all the BIGGER rocks but it still wasn't very user friendly! if you look in the 2nd photo (1st. posting) you will see my poor man sona tube a collection of nonreturnable 35 & 55 gal poly spray drums I hole sawed the bottoms then placed in gravel and put a 18x18x3 concrete pad for the post to sit on then filled with concrete the subgrade still has to come up about 14" then it will get a 6 " floor with a thickened edge I will also bore the posts and install rebar just for added strength and a frost barrier but that wont happen until spring, after the frost is out! I used over 30 yards of crushed rock just to back fill the post holed .......damn rocks .............f.....ing rocks ......aka sex stones
  15. ya know what 2 Dayton wheels and 2 budd wheels are good for?......................making a wood stove!........put a budd on each end and the daytons in the middle...... fill in the holes and make a door on one end the opening in the budd wheel will become the draft . I will have to take a pic of mine, and post.
  16. I want to loft one side, and hope to put a bridge crane in this will let me have either a top running or under slung crane and still have at least16 ft. of head room. Plus it allows me to put in windows just under the eves then lean to each side and have enough head room to get the other taller equipment under.
  17. finally a crop I could grow with out trying
  18. don't know about the 4 stroke d.d. but the 2 stroke would accelerate at 2 grand / sec. so you almost have 2 seconds to get a phone book (bigun) over tubo/blower, coveralls clipboard what ever. So if any thing to snuff the intake is more than 2 seconds away from the intake, run for your life.......you will have lots of time to spread the floor dry after a bref 4-6 second last screaming of the demon
  19. I think super dog is working on this one.
  20. naw weed might be legal here but its not gonna be grown in there! there for no sprinklers
  21. yes I cant wait ! I have too much stuff that don't fit into the 24x36 lean to style shop I have now .......gotta step out side just to my mind
  22. I thought the old ford square box cab overs were ugly, but I think this proved that the French could out ugly fomoco.
  23. well my Christmas present is starting to take shape...........a nice new 40x80x20 stocking will allow me to stuff a lot of presents inside! my plan is to lean-to the sides and make a dog house for red
  24. I agree its parade ready!.........even it if does have spokes on the rear
  25. well that's one eng. job that wont require a parts quote
