  1. just tried some of the "sauce" from the shipment, ......I think that jar could cook a prime rib just by basting ! ......its gooooood
  2. I'm guessing impromptu driver training, or at least that's been my own personal experience
  3. YAH......... UH HUH ...............HERES YOUR SIGN .!
  4. more ketchup will mask that petro taste! or at least that's what I tell the wife when I bbq. !
  5. 98% of the ones around here are all on tracks , did that one have a saw or a shear on it?
  6. so is that a polite way of saying Nancy has her head in her ass?
  7. as Bill Engval might say... if you believe either one ...........here's your "SIGN"
  8. what time is dinner? I will bring the horseradish , Anjou and beer!........ looks great must have been an even cooking can !
  9. EZ, the trunion fixture that the 5 wheel pins to is also available in different heights we use to change out the one on our lowboy truck when moving certain loads to stay under height it seams like it was a 3" difference. We just cut the welds (on the Plate stop ) at the end of the slide plate and pulled the two pivot pins to the 5 wheel and removed the plate, then unlock slide and remove slide assy. out the back unpin the air cyl. and change out fixtures. We made heaver stops to replace the ones that we cut the welds on and then drilled and bolted them on with 3 ea. 5/8 bolts per side. So check your pedestal / trunion height to see if you have a low mount if so this may be a easy fix.
  10. that research money was spent paying for obummer care, SORRY
  11. can try matching them up at your local auto parts store.
  12. I wonder if PIGPIN was texting RUBBER DUCK......and pulled out in front of T-BONE....? all joking aside what a lucky guy to be only slightly injured. Upon further study of the photo its amazing that the decks didn't cut T-bone into steak chunks. seems like a 2 deck cow trailer would have been right at dashboard height Lucky that's all I can say !
  13. HAPPY NEW YEAR TOO ALL!
  14. what they said!.......congrats.
  15. was there different drive or driven sprockets to change final wheel speed ?
  16. that's a great truck to learn on ! as they say if you can enjoy driving that, you will love driving most other trucks!
  17. when you have ice hanging off your Johnson, its cold !
  18. the truck started its life in Langley B.C. then came to the states in 1982 I had a after school job at Tonasket redi-mix and Herb had bought it, it was 6 yrs. old then. it mostly ran solo from the pit to the plant about 4 miles each way hauling mix rock. when herb closed the doors in about 2002 my buddy bought it, then never hardly used it so I bought it 4 years ago, later after talking to Herb I found out it has less than 10,000 miles on a Cummins overhaul 350 s.c. 13sp. the dump box is junk but still works for a farm truck. and don't drink as much as the 534 in the old 5 yarder.
  19. I think that's the definition of coyote ugly ! ..............damn.
  20. yes there was a little room next to the tailgate but my gate sw. wouldn't quit leaking air in the lock position ,so I had to load forward. yep the ole girl has a heavy beam up front 18,000 I think I might have overloaded the tires I don't think 11-24.5 was enough tire
  21. well I can agree that a well adjusted dynatard performs BETTER than a ill adjusted one and yes they work great for speed shifting, but compared to a Cummins with a well adjusted Jake, .........well I don't want to start a fist fight!
  22. did page &page get bought up or just die? the 67 pete I drove had it, other than that I have only seen some on old log trailers or belly dumps as trailer susp. never came across any more truck susp.
  23. ok thanks Glenn, now that you mention it I have seen a old kw with that smaller inline 6 forgot all about it till now, I was only remembering the 3306
  24. if it was a dm 800 I would say the springs would have a curve still. I should have scaled it , just glad the box cyl. didn't come thru the top of the tower I'm missing the side board on the other side so it's a little lopsided .....thought I had better not spill all over the road, didn't want to leave a trail of bread crumbs so to speak. didn't want to waste the time or fuel for the 5th trip
