  1. yah with the paddles at the bottom of the doors how in the hell are you supposed to get out ? .............. actually the whole set up looks perty good.
  2. hell just fire up the screamin demon............ the concrete will get tired of listening to it and will leave the drum on its own!..........or if that don't work adjust the hi-idle to about 3,000 rpm and the vibration should reduce it to dust within a day or so! this will also get rid of unwanted neighbors, tax men, religious promoters, and bums in general!
  3. Well Mike since the National Finals Rodeo ended last night, I think you should advertise the cruseliner in Rodeo News,.......with a wheelbase like it has it should easily double as a rough stock trainer!......... just a thought.
  4. and to think most people love john deere's I think the fordson changed history more than the deere's ........... love the other photos some conversions I have never seen. very nice stuff.
  5. do you still need this info?.......I think I have the info.
  6. also appears to be foreign made ! or perhaps stored out side

  13. Doubble check the intake system, filter, charge air cooler, a choked diesel will over heat,or run hot. I'm thinking shop rag or such in charge air cooler.
  14. Dave: you should give classes on how to do that! That's awesome. ........ I can never keep a shop that clean!
  15. Several years ago I needed towed about 10 miles as well I was 92,000 gross the tow truck had to go a ways past me to turn around then hook and drag me to the rest area then drop the pull trailer, then drag me on to selah to the wearhouse, he pulled me over the scales, then thru the dip tank, I in loaded the fruit and then back Across the scales be fore he set me down, I had a company truck bring in the trailer. All of the towing and screwing around cost 430.00 I was as happy as a guy with a bad e9 could be. So if you ever break down around Yakama Wa.call hwy.towing.
  16. With the brakes released and wheels choked grab the slack adjusters and see if there loose, if so see if the shoes will move. If slacks don't move ckeck for air at the emergency port of the air can.
  17. Paul: I'm not trying to hijack your thread but this is too cool to leave out !
  18. how is it that 75 years ago one machine could do damn near any thing but today it would be almost impossible for a manufacturer to design such a versatile machine. love the pics, but your missing one, the fordson snowmobile it has two tank looking attachments with a spiral flighting and was steered with the wheel brakes. i.ve only seen a online vid. of it but it was cool looking- working.
  19. Vlad: the apples were covered with snow, warmed up Thursday to 45f south wind took care of the snow. then yesterday started the day out at 40f, ended the day at 18f...........and today we haven't been above 12f with a 20mph north wind buuuurrrrrrr a little more of this weather and I will be ready to vacation in Siberia ! the apples that are still on the trees are as hard as marbles, Snow dog: yes I believe you guys had a record or near record crop as well that why we don't have a processor market, the east coast filled the quota.........you moving any snow yet? ......we've had almost 7 in. so far 90% melted now, I'm glad because I still had about 25 acres of pasture for the cows to graze down before the snow comes to stay.
  20. O.D. if I hadn't seen this monster with my own eyes I would have thought it was a emu
  21. Car lot: sent you a p.m.
  22. Sleepwalker: yes at 14,411 feet (4392) meters it is indeed a giant. Green dash: I need to stop and get some better pics. of the vette. for a conversion the guy did a pretty nice job! I would like to talk to the guy I would guess he used a scout or bronco to get the right width of axles he has a few other decent projects. but I'm not really "car" guy myself. the eastern part of the state is unique, from scantly covered solid basalt rock to very fertile volcanic loam farm fields to mountainous timbered valleys in the northern part.
  23. My buddy Roger tried cooking a 41lb. turkey starting wed. eve. at 10pm and we started carving at 2:30 pm and had to recook it some more.......but I think "Santa" and that bird had the same size breasts!.........we ate at 5:pm ......should have got a pic. what a huge bird! next year he says he'll butcher a little sooner!
  24. sleepwalker: yours is a much nicer pic! mine seemed to have the rest of the cascade range in the way
  25. I need one more project like I need a hole in my head.......... but if it was closer ........... good thing its that far away!
