  1. You're right about the PITA mounting nut. I had to heat and bend a wrench to get at it.
  2. Looking for the aluminum spacer/cover that goes between the compressor and the mounting flange. It is about 2" thick and triangular with two bolts at the top and one at the bottom. Mine is about to come apart from deterioration. There doesn't seem to be any rotation marks or evidence of anything coming in contact with it. I've tried posting pictures but keep getting the dreaded "code 200". Anyone got one for sale?
  3. Won't be long until he is sliding over under the wheel.
  4. Not a bad price maybe it will end up on someone here's shop wall.
  5. 6. Mike, I've been trying to get the paint code for B Model engine paint. I know the above is an old post but looks like you have been active. Thanks, Harry
  7. It would make a great roll back. Unfortunately I'm like the others on the EC so I'll just egg Bob on. It would be worth $400 just to drive it to Reno.
  8. Restoration Supply in CA carries several patterns of rubber mat (https://restorationstuff.com/).
  9. ...taking a closer look the tach location is right but the speedo looks like a modification or is that a later style instrument cluster?
  10. The other thing I notice is looks like the tach was added on. Seems a little weird if it started life as a diesel. It looks to be a nicer than the description but hard to tell. It will be interesting to see what it goes for.
  11. That reminds me of Other Dog's picture some years ago of a 66 mph truck and a 66 1/2 mph truck going uphill. Do you still have that one?
  12. Check with Daytona Parts: https://daytonaparts.com/find-your-carburetor-kit.html
  13. I had the same problem. Just tried and it worked this time. Starter is super cool. Lots of "likes".
  14. Sheetz in our area dropped their Auto Diesel .50 to $4.49 a couple of days ago.
  15. Working on those thing will drive a man to drink.

I had a sliding interlock switch as mentioned above put in along with a 30 amp plug and box a couple of months ago. The cost with materials and labor was $600. Haven't had to use it yet which is fine with me.
  17. It wasn't me. I've got my hands full maintaining the original stuff. Keith's project is super cool.
  18. Or how about "you oughta see the other guy". Seriously, glad it's not any worse. Falling is a curse as we age.
  19. That's a nice looking combo. I have a B-61 SA with about the same wheel base that weighs in at 11000#.
  20. I had to cringe about a minute in looked like the motorcycle guy was going to get hit. Also the "round abouts" get your head spinning. Great video.
  21. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY/HEALTHY NEW YEAR!
  22. Sorry to hear about your cat. Looked pretty young and healthy.
