  1. On eBay - no connection: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-WATER-TRUCK-Constructon-Mining-Logging-tanker-wagon-pull-7000-gallon-/331480513659?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d2dc73c7b
  2. My guess is corrosion on the battery terminals or cable ends. The juice isn't getting through somewhere. Clean up the contact points. If not, a light tester or multi meter will tell you where the problem is.
  3. Allis-Chalmers also built some prototype snowmobiles at that time, but never went into production with them.
  4. You can say, "This truck has everything - including the kitchen sink" !
  5. R model International I think.
  6. Starting in April would be late in the model year, meaning there was not a large number of 65's built. I don't know when the 66's would have started, but would guess September.
  7. But don't walk into a body shop here and ask the guy if he is a panel beater !!
  8. It looks like great motorcycling country.
  9. Oil changes would be a snap!
  10. The last year for B models was 1966.
  11. Couldn't you have used a regular injector in it until you got the replacement?
  12. I think the B model production was closer to 100,000. If I remember right the AC model, the one-time leader, was produced for 26 years. The Ford C was actually built for 34 years, 1957 through 1990. As far as the R, it seems it should be only the R and not the variations - but there are no rules, so who can say. If you go by the same basic styling, that will be different than sticking strictly with a model designation. The Ford F series was started in 1948, but it is a totally different truck today.
  13. Another option would be two peices of square tubing instead of one rectangular. Then I think 1/4 would be enough. And probably easier to find.
  14. Is there enough room for an air hammer.
  15. What is the season Paul ?? You're going to get a lump of coal in your stocking ! What do folks do there at Christmas time? Lay on the beach ??
  16. Snub it off by putting it in high gear and let the clutch out while holding the brake.
  17. If it's a Flink - you have the Chinese version. They always run slow.
  18. The U model was meant to be a short BBC truck.
  19. Period correct gets my vote. Something you would have seen back in the day.
  20. Don't forget where you are when you get off.
  21. A dealer will likely say that you need to buy a service manual. That is a good thing to have anyway. Check eBay for a better price than at the dealer.
