    the chu or cxu may be a better choice to try that in since they have a little bit of a doghouse already to give you some more engine room. i have been thinking about trying it myself if i could fing a good cheap detroit powered donor truck

    There is a company out of TX called Donvel that makes similar air ride for all makes

    the sycronizers can be replaced with transmission still in the truck. It takes special tool to hold the gears in place but it can be done

    Isn't the new ch coming out with new led headlights. I thought I read that was one of the upgrade it got. Hope so because I would like to have some better lights on my 99 also

    Does anyone have the specific part number on the detroit turbo? I keep hearing about it but no one has given real part number on which one to use.

    my selinoid only has one port on the side air from truck and one out of the bottom to the fan and exhaust port on the top

    Yes I already had air fan just took off a kysor and replaced with a Horton

    Any chance it would need changed in the ecm I tried just switching air lines on selinoid that doesn't seem like it works. Just a single air line surly not to many ways to plumb

    is a kysor and horton fan clutch opposite as far as one taking air to engage and the other requiring air to disengage

    The 08 and newer would be a real pita looks to me like. They moved ac and heater core to right side of cab and the wiring and air lines going into cab looks alot different

    I can not see any difference in the cabs there maybe some minor things but should'nt be to hard to overcome them

    Is the cat cross member different from an e6 or e9

    I would'nt know why you could'nt put up to an 07 model cab on your truck as long as it had the etech engine and not the mp series engine. I have an 07 and some 99's wiring looks like same plug in on firewall but the 07 does have 9 pin data port under dash and 99 only has 6 or 7 pin plug in. TimberJack said in his post there was 2 extra wires

    Did you change front engine cover so that the ac compressor was on the left side And did you have to change anything else
