    The 8 speed will also have a higher overdrive ratio

    When mine did this it pushed oil out of the filter head because the blow by filter was plugged up with green snot crank case couldn't breathe so it went out of the filter head vent

    I don't know that he needs an engine.But I do know that I needed an engine with similar symptoms. Liner low caused overflow reservoir to push water out, water in oil caused crankcase to plug up with snot looking water/ oil mixture then that caused oil filter housing breather to leak because it couldn't breathe out the blowby. That was my experience in the past

    Any chance you might have antifreeze or oil wicking into the ECM? That was an issue on the E7'S some times

    The Anthem day cab and small sleeper used the same cab as the CXU as far as I know. it should be doable probably have to strip both down to bare cab and start from there

    I have some used full tilt manifolds and a new switch blade turbo that I never installed and I might have some bigger injectors If you decide to go that route. Or I also have a low mileage CL with an E9 I have been thinking about selling

    I would think it's doable they made electronic e7's that were 454 with the inline pump and they lived a million miles. I wouldn't think 10 percent more would be that critical if it was done right

    Fleets usually get rid of them around 500000 because that's around the time warranty runs out and it's hard to get or keep driver's in older high mileage trucks.
