  1. It seems you folks have been holding out on us. Great pics. Thanks for posting and sharing the history of the equipment.
  2. I was one of those kids, but I also thought the name was "Brock-a-way" back then.
  3. Arborio runs not one, but a bunch of B models? I like the DM800. It reminds me of the dumps one would see on an island across the sound from CT.
  4. It's always nice to sit behind the wheel of a conventional and have a view of the ENTIRE hood without having to stand up in the seat. Looks like you had fun Bdt. Thanks for posting the pics.
  5. Is that a red stool that the light is sittiing on in the 3rd pic from the top?
  6. And obviously well cared for. What are the specs?
  7. Downtown Monessen, PA, just across the river from my house. That building is a cosmetology school.
  8. On the other hand, she seems to have a death grip on it. Maybe she's afraid it will be lost forever if she drops it. It's so tiny.
  9. It does seem to have taller frame rails than this "72.
  10. Very Clever! Google it, Vincent!
  11. I've that quite a bit on R700's and some Brockways. That long hood and V8 emblem mean business, Woof Woof.
  12. Lifting a Red Solo Cup has been recognised as an official form of praise in the U.S. You're good.
  13. Beautiful. I like the color too.
  14. Yeah, but I suspect she'll just let it keep ringing.
  15. That looks good great up there, and that's quite a gasket, too. The Michigan State Police were using that style up until recently. Here's yours on a '58 Chevy.
  16. Here's a U700 brochure from the 70's or 80's. It's shows a U795 with the 325 Maxidyne and the Farr air cleaner. The 375 hp Thermodyne was also available.
  17. That's quite a tragedy. Thoughts and prayers to the family of the driver of the car and best wishes to the fire company. I hope it won't be very long before you are back up to speed. The CF looked great sitting there doing it's job the same as it would have done many years ago on it's first call.
  18. Nice truck. I'm not a fan of 80's pop music. It was a Cruel Decade, IMO.
  19. Happy Birthday Bobo and Bob! "May you stay, Forever Young" -B.D.
  20. I like the R model tractor with the red fenders and the axle forward CH in the first pic. I didn't realise you were so far north. I figured you were south of the thruway for some reason. Anywho, I hope your Nana feels better soon.
  21. Thanks to all on BMT who have served. Have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend.
  22. Nice collection of trucks, the G looks great in yellow. The H looks like the one owned by Harry M....I won't attempt the spelling. Thanks for explaining the origin of the Abilene Express name, that one has kept me up nights (I got no life). One question. How many friggin' hot dogs did you plan on eating that you were concerned about an overweight ticket?
  23. Yeah, that's what I wanna see. That photo is a perfect example of why texting while driving should be illegal. There are numerous other things she could've been doing with her hands if she weren't holding that damn phone. Is driving while texting also illegal, or did I just discover a legal loophole?
