  1. Congratulations! At least we know that THIS one went to someone who will use it responsibly, which is more than can be said for the thousands of two week wonders that are churned out by the CDL mills every year. YouTube has a countless amount of videos of stupid driver tricks that support the argument that the tests might need to be a bit tougher.
  2. Party Pooper! Those look like Mack rims and Brockway would have a nameplate in that small space between the door window and handle, which I don't see. Might be some other clues that I'm not aware of.
  3. I love dogs and elephants. I used to deliver to the Do-It-Best store in Point Pleasant and once commented on the view of the bridge from yard. I got the whole story in detail as if it had just happened.
  4. The content more than makes up for the quality of the video. I didn't think it was all that bad, actually.
  5. I saw the Hino's last night. The CNG U.S. Cargo truck is smaller than those. I didn't see that one last night but am curious about it now. Incidently, the 2 Visions I mentioned above that had been converted to run on CNG have had there equipment removed and are once again straight diesels.
  6. Quite a collection. I didn't know that was where Hank's Highway Hilton ended up
  7. If it weren't for Men At Work, I still would probably have never heard of Vegemite.
  8. I haven't heard of any issues other than drivers not liking how they pull. I think there are 6 of them, 3 in PGH and 3 in West Middlesex. The ones in PGH are driven by the 3 drivers with the least seniority because no one wants anything to do with them. Fueling is also a hassle because the nearest station is in the strip. Linehaul drivers coming back from the east fill up at the New Stanton service plaza on the turnpike. There will eventually be a staion across Rich Hill Rd from the terminal. Was the Hino CNG or diesel? I saw a U.S.Cargo CNG straight truck there last week. Other than D1753, with the red tanks in the pic on the left, all Pinnacles are diesel. They may eventually start phasing CNG vehicles into the fleet but they're still testing them and waiting for more stations to open. It's just not practical at this time.
  9. It's fancy-shmancy alright, a far cry from what the boys in Cleveland have to work with, but they're breaking ground on a new place this year. It's nice to have the room on BOTH sides of the terminal to back in, but tractor and trailer parking seems to be almost at capacity already. The ramp up to the dock is on the wrong side of the building, which I believe is what the construction crew is working on I see you have a white hood, what brand did US Cargo purchase? You caught one of the CNG Cascadias and the only CNG Pinnacle in the fleet. There is also 2 Visions that were converted. It's been open less than a year and is not visible until your right out side of it. You take 910 past the 28 south on ramp and continue up a steep winding hill. It's at the top on the right. It is visible from the turnpike, at least when the leaves are gone.
  10. I think the boys at Art's need a lesson in physics. I'm amazed at the number of drivers that are clueless to the fact they are blinding everyone who has the misfortune of being in the path of those unreasonbly bright lights.
  11. It's awesome that you were able to have some quality 1-on-1 time with one of your kids when you have 3 more at home. We only have 2 and when they were small a situation like that would have to be handled "delicately". Then again, we were dealing with females. Kudos to Shane for having such a keen interest in history.
  12. Didn't you have a similar incident recently with another moron?
  13. You beat NYS out of an overweight fine, but lost an air bag later on. That's how it worked when my dad was an O/O. Love that GMC wrecker!
  14. I would've had to grab something off the grill and pull my pork on the car ride home.
  15. Beautiful. That's a timeless design that looks good on any square-hood conventional.
  16. I have E-logs, those are easy! The only problem is they don't allow an artistic driver to show his creative side.
  17. Thanks for sharing. Love that green and white KW.
  18. I had a floor load of loose coffee beans on the first trailer that was a hand unload. They had to be counted, sorted, and segregated. I get to the final 100,000 of the 1,937,628,512, 073 beans and they tell me to drop the trailer and grab and empty. Lost 15 minutes on that screw up. I did have a secret shortcut through the woods. Some rookie in a Freightliner said he follow me, but I lost track of him.
