  1. Thanks for the big boat pictures.. Have you ever seen them going thru the locks??? Those boys can do some serious driving!! Those 3 wide barges fit in with only inches to clear on either side.. And they have to be square before they start in.. Guttenburg Iowa has bleacher in the city park where you can sit and watch them. I spent a couple of hours there while the wife checked out the "JUNK" stores!!!
  2. Jim Thanks!! That is what I thought , But was not sure.. Guess I need a tape recorder attached to my camera so I can remember what all the pictures are??
  3. Here is the Ralph Smith H model in Tony Champions collection Down Under.. Ron will have to tell us if it is the red or blue one. I cannot remember??
  4. Damn!! THat Brisket looks great!!! I am on my way to Gladys...
  5. I've been to Floyd a few times!!
  6. Love your big city!!! Even larger than the one I live in!!! Thanks for the pictures.. You are enjoying your vacation. Always like to take the back roads..
  7. Paul and Tim Build a bigger garage!!!! Actually have so much "stuff" in the garage mine does not fit.. Have gone from Single, to club, to full crew cab over the past 20 years.. So much more comfortable when you take friends to shows and haul the grocerys home!!
  8. OD Thanks for the pictures.. Have seen the signs for those dams and lakes. Southwestern VA is very pretty countryside.

Larry Our liberal press will not cover the RNC as they do not view conservativaties as needing support, BUT I bet the news media will have Billiarys face in the news all this week from the DNC.. Just like before with Obumma..
  10. Wife and I stopped there 3 years ago on our way to Yakima Wash. A revisit is in the plans for next year's ATHS National show in Des Moines..
  11. Here is a Buffalo Springfield on display at the Erv Bickford Collection pavillion in the heart of downtown Yarmouth Maine. The rest of my pictures can be found here: http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/99086/The-Erv-Bickford-Collection
  12. Tom is active in the ATCA Vintage Trucks of Florida chapter.. He had several trucks at their show in Leesburg FL last Feb. You can probably contact them thru the chapters website: http://www.vintagetrucksfl.org/home.aspx
  13. Billy T Yes that is me.. Your prewar 39 would have had the "deluxe" cab which included a clock, cigar lighter, and a banajo horn ring.. DT did not return to building them after the war, so all post war ones are plain dash.
  14. Looks good!!! Also looks like you have had enough water for your crops.. Everything here in the southeast is drying up bad.. we are about 5 inches behind in yearly rainfall..
  15. Mike Thanks for the pictures.. That show is on my bucket list.

  17. OD Thanks for the pictures,, especially the girls in cars!!!! Too bad the did not have good cell phone cameras 30 years ago.. Looks like two different loads of carports??? Running with another truck??
  18. And thinking of Other Dog. The driver said this tractor was heavier than most as he also pulls a roller bed trailer moving oil field equipment.
  19. After Macungie my wife and I took a long 2 weeks touring New England and the Maritime of Canada. The Cole's museum in Bangor is great with a LOT of stuff in their museum. Owls Head is mostly old cars and airplanes, and my report on the Erv Bickford collection is here, http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/99086/The-Erv-Bickford-Collection. The Bay of Fundy has the worlds highest tides and the trip around it, on VERY ROUGH roads was great. We stopped in the little town of Alma, new Brunswick for the wife to "shop" and I went across the road to get a couple of pictures of the boats and these trucks showed up. Did not see very many twin steers. Six axle with Canadian spread can gross 49,000 kg which equals almost 110,000 lbs.
  20. It was also great to meet and visit with you at Macungie..
  21. Paul Transportation Workers Identification card.. Needed by all truck drivers to get into a port to get a container.. Another knee jerk action the result of 9/11 to screw with the common working man and steal his $132..
  22. Vinny Just forget about the northern NY version of the Winfall Wimmin!!!
  23. Any updates??? Are you going to make Macungie???
  24. And I had trouble getting my TWIX card because of a fight with my wifes EX about 20 years prior in rural Georgia.
  25. I moved out of the Finger Lakes region 40 years ago and have not missed it at all. Have only gone back up for the Brockway Weekend and visit some relatives.
