Our Service Center (Terminal) sits near the north end of runway 14/32 and we can see the F-15's climb out about 3-4 seconds before we hear them when they take off. And if there is a conflict, it will likely pull in most of the Middle East. I assume Iran would take advantage of its ability to choke the Straight of Hormuz, sending oil prices soaring. Venezuela was much easier (not easy but easier). Iran maintains a state of readiness. I do feel Israel has good intel in-country, but still a ground fight on Iran's home turf must be an uphill battle. We should be able to protect our bases from missile attack with laser weapons or other modern technology.
