It is hard to find a chrome shop anymore especially one that would deal with pitted metal good luck let us know what you find I am thinking about powder coating some of that kind of stuff

No luck with Watts.I found a place here in Philadelphia that’s a one man show.$350 for both,throught it was high but then he explained the process and I figured it will take around 2-3 hours to do.So by the time he time he turns on the lights,pays his insurance,buys supplies it not a bad price.This is coming from a retired contractor who know costs.

That sounds like "the going price" with the advantage of being local. I remember using a shop in Philadelphia by the name of Martins years ago. It was a father and son then they split if I remember right. The last I heard the son was still in business.

You want to cringe at that price....but it is realistic in today's world.

I'd love to get my dash and glove box plated but would hate to ask.  I thought of having SS panels cut to fit over.  Cheaper and easier, I think?
