Gold anodized to keep from rusting.  Looks great!!

I'm so unhappy with the way my wheels turned out when I did them.  Just 5? yrs and they look like chit.  Rusty and ugly.  I should have just painted them with a brush.

well i beat the whether and its out of the garage and my mustang is back in there

You know I trained on one just like that way back in 1976 and I find it very very hard to tell people. It’s an antique  back in  those days those things with the king of the highway in the north east.

Paul when I was putting those last two wheels together and putting in the flaps, I was thinking to myself the last time I did this I was only 17.  52 years ago it was a little bit easier back then I had a little bit of trouble trying to get the lock rings back on since I did not have a rim stand.

Ok back in business….. we are having very unusual weather here… was 85 yesterday… back at it … started pulling fuel lines off yesterday… didn’t get too far but removed a couple of hard to get at brackets…keeps losing prime. Lets hope this cures it and my lawn is already growing out of control,,, I’ll have to mow tomorrow…. Bob

Probably mentioned this before, check valves in lift pump can loose prime.

Thanks for that. I was hoping I didn’t have to go into the pump but let’s see what happens. These two lines are been on there since 66 as far as I know so let’s see what happens and thanks again for your input.
