A few areas Long Island had a few small incorporated villages use for highway maintenance units. Worked well and had a good service life til parts got hard to find. . BOB DINGSDALE Posted December 11, 2017 Share Posted December 11, 2017 we had a company here that had 4 MB 400's with Scania engines.they were in the shop more than on the road and they were only running about 8 miles per round trip 5days aweek 24 hrs a day.if they were the MB 600 with the 673 diesel it would have been a different story. Mack n/a diesels tandem rears,duplex trans. easy to work on with tilt cabs. Ps dont forget to LATCH THE CAB DOWN when moving from one work bay to another.
