88RD688S Posted March 5, 2017 Share Posted March 5, 2017 Hello.all, I recently pulled the E-9 500 out of my Superliner triaxle dump to have it rebuilt. The builder tore it all down and sent everything to the machine shop to have it cooked and checked out. What we discovered was that all the components looked good except number 4 counterbore is cracked. So if anyone knows where I can find a good block your help would be greatly appreciated. Back In Black Pulling Posted March 7, 2017 Share Posted March 7, 2017 What Rick did to one of mine was cut out the counter bore and put in this hard Stainless ring then machine it , can even see it once he is done.
