Popular Post m16ty Posted December 19, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted December 19, 2015 I submitted the VIN of my RD822sx to the Mack Museum to see what info they had on the truck.I have to say I'm blown away at what they sent me. A big box arrived today with a truck build sheet, Sales literature for the RD trucks of that vintage, dealer sales record, operators manual, lube manual, engine rebuild manual, and truck maintenance manual.All of this free of charge. They did sent a letter with everything stating that they accept donations and I will be sending them a sizable donation. Additionally, their operational budget is limited as well. It took a lot of time and material for them to send me all that info free of charge.I would beg anybody that request truck info to send them a decent donation. They also have shop drawings for almost every part Mack ever made which they will send to you if you need them for a restoration. I have gotten drawings of the 1925 AB's fenders as well as a soft sleeve holder for my 1952 A model. Quickfarms Posted December 19, 2015 Share Posted December 19, 2015 I was looking at a pair of Mack's in a wrecking yard a couple of years ago and they emailed me the build sheet, unfortunately the yard decided that they were worth more in parts than a complete truck.
