Don't worry about 10 tonn bridge, hay is lighter than air :)

Seriousely I bought GPS about 5 years back and tried to use it.

The reason was the motorbike.

To check a map you need to stop, take glowes off, oped on-tank bag and than a map is in front of you.

I bought water-proof Garmine, made attachment to the steering column and made a big trip.

The most nice part of the story began when I rode into the city of Istanbul.

Looked the city map in general, put it in the bag and started.

Rode following Garmin.

After about an hour when my fingers were good enough to fall apart due to all the starts/stops/shifts etc I stopped and checked out the map.

That f**king thing headed me straight! Not along the highways but through the living streets.

Having no other trip options found I set the general map of the city and kept direction to the center.

Had it done in 20 minutes! Uggh... Used that thing 3-4 more times after that.

What is the paint scheme on that tandem firetruck?

Is it for fireservice or anything else?

Thank you for the pictures.

I like blondie at the plant nursery. Her puppy is not having a good day with the cone collar though.

Going to stick with paper maps and "Random McNally" map books.

I use the cones to feed my bassets, saves cleaning up the drool.

GPS would NEVER steer you wrong.... We got a new Tow truck as work, Medium duty, I started down the TRUCK route Friday and the smarter than me computer GPS display screen thing starts freaking out , buzzers going off, screen says TRUCKS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS ROAD!.........

I get that a lot with mine. I feel like smashing it most of the time. Never getting rid of Rand McNally paperback edition.

My saying is "you need to know where you are going before you take a trip if you are going to use a GPS". I use it to monitor speed, direction, elevation, distance, general directions, and upcoming streets, exits, and turns. I do not have a "trucker" version but I use the GPS in the MH to track distance and speed to compare to the odometer/speedometer.
