Pictures of the Week

Thanks for the pictures.. Been across that bridge many times.. before there was any bypass on the WV end..

Yep, me too. We used to run 34 to 35, 23 to Columbus, then 33 and 30 to Chicago. That was before they invented the AA Highway. The truck stop at Pliny had the best chef's salad, the Pliny Burgers weren't bad either, and we also stopped at the Schoolhouse or the Highway Diner in Chillicothe a lot. Now I usually take the AA Highway up to Cincinnati and 74 to Indianapolis. I didn't go that way Tuesday because I needed a permit for a 60' load in Ky.

Yes, it was a very good catch of that B.

I'm not a great fan of girls in a car, just prefere goats on a hill though.

The road shots are nice as usual.

What is he story of the bridge collapse in 1967?

Great set of pics Tom. I know I wouldn't have wanted to haul those rolls of belting....ugly!!! Where is the steel mill located? I always enjoyed hauling steel out of Bethlehem. I tried to get the one "big" drop load. Sometimes the piece meal loads would take all day

I love dogs and elephants.

Enjoyed the pictures. I was in that area about four years ago the locals were still talking about the bridge.

I used to deliver to the Do-It-Best store in Point Pleasant and once commented on the view of the bridge from yard. I got the whole story in detail as if it had just happened.
