Good running complete Cummins 160 that had been transplanted into the B42 $800

How universal are those air assists? Drag link the same as B61?

It looks like it would go right on the B61 I have, I just don't feel the need for it.

I will measure my drag link and compare to it. I have interest if it is in working order. Does it come with mounting brackets?

Larry I had air assist on a F-Model I liked it. It is not the same as power steering but much better than armstrong. Joe D.

I've heard the good and the bads. Power steering isnt likely for me but this would be a step up. If it made it even half as easy to steer when moving slow I would be happy.

Is the Unishift out of the gas truck or something that was transplanted with the Cummins? I have been looking for a replacement for my unishift but it is a TRDL 725 Anyone know if the torque rating of this one would be enough for my 673 and if it would bolt up without any major mods>?

I believe the Unishift was the original transmission to the truck.

Here are a couple photos of the 160 Cummins,pulled out @ 3 weeks ago. Runs good,12 volt starter and Generator,easy transplant. I saved everything to put into another b model

Thats the same setup I have in my B. Its air-o-matic brand. It works well. A ever so slight wonder sometimes. but other than that its nice.

Have an Air O Matic on a Brockway with a BW flip switch in the air supply line. Parking and local driving, air is on. Driving on the highway, air is off and seems to work well that way.

I got it. Got everything cleaned up and bracket is mounted on axle. I am working on getting new boot for cylinder and new o-ring for shaft. Talked to Maradyne and boot is $75!!! Not in stock. I'm thinking I'll be doing some google searching for something comparable. I will be putting a shut off valve on it like I've heard talk before. Didn't think of using flip switch(like a tp1 or brake limiter), as I have an electric soleniod valve sitting on the bench from something else. But I like the air switch as it won't get hot from being ON all the time. Hmmmmm, thanks for the idear Jim.

Got to the local 4x4 shop. We got a boot for Horans B model Air Steer cylinder for a Rancho JEEP off road steering shock absorber. $9

Yup, that was my thought. They offer two lengths. The one I happen to have in the garage was too short.
