I don't recall where it came from either, but here is one.

Mack Engine Codes.
With the 3 digit Mack model code numbers the first number refers to the series-400 series, 600 series, 700 series, 800 series etc.
The second and third numbers refer to the engine fitted. All diesels unless noted.

Welcome aboard, Rocket! I'm guessing the fiberglass cab was just an Aussie thing? I've seen some stuff about them, but never heard of a US version. Doesn't the dash really resemble that of an R model? How did they hold up against vibration? I know my old F isn't very smooth riding.
