If they have a train to unload they'll let you sit there, or if their bins are getting full.Still a-holes down there though. I have a picture of my Dad's first black Mack on the lift. Was probably taken in the early eighties.I have two pictures I took in 2010. The dump is in the exact same spot, but about three years ago they took out the truck lift/scaleand paved over that. Most had like 4 trucks ahead of me. 2nd load took an hour to get out wasn't too bad now I'm sitting here with the 3rd one working on 3 hrs. They take wheat and still use the lifts. The only guys that use them are the TTI trucks.Usually all Pete's with covered wagons out of Wis that bring wheat down and take steel back. They have side kits in the flat beds with doorson the back that open so they can tip the trailers. I've been to the Cargill across from the casino in Hammond but they just have regulardumps there. I took pictures of threeand there were 10 I missed. Also saw a big crane on a barge, a ton of traffic, and the Trump building while I was sitting on upper Wacker DR.Was warm and sunny today so there was some decent scenery to look at, but I couldn't gawk too much because I had to watch out for peoplewho seem all to willing to step out in front of a truck or walk into the side of a trailer. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The building where I was going has a $250,000 landscaping budget per corner of the building. Old, new, any make or model, just come on out. And don't worry about any scratches in the paintor anything else. Hose the bugs off and bring the trucks out. Its all for fun. A couple years ago I brought all my trucks and mybosses two Macks. A B and an LJ. I brought five trucks to the show. Two Pete's and three Mack's. Had to find a couple drivers,but I managed.
