Mine is direct mounted with an extra bracket hasn't been an issue.  Only been on for a couple months though

You need the bracket because the mounting surface on the PTO is adjustable to turn it for clearance issues, and tightens up with some real small allen bolts and will pull out without the bracket. i know because i had one do that once.   terry:MackLogo:

So are you down by sauk trail. Mr kamps toys are very nice as is he.i couldn't make the show this year but was off  like on a Wednesday after stopped to say hi and he said go walk around and check stuff out
