It would seam so, you don't see wrecker like those running the roads of Michigan where trains can run up to 160K and permit loads above that.

What is the justification for a rig like that in Conn?

Hah..Justification?  I think ego is one thing-if the other guy has it, I'm going to top that😎

But I think Hippy raises a good point.  I think I see some of these guys doing what I would see as routine crane jobs at construction sites.  Here in Mass equipment operators have to have a Hoisting Engineer License.  And they are issued for various classes of equipment.  I have a 2A that restricts me to loaders, loader back hoes, and excavators.  cranes?  that is another story.

Blackdog..does Conn have a similar license now for construction equipment?

I wish I took pictures of the DM pit trucks I worked on for Portland Sand and Gravel in Portland Maine. They were triple framed, E-6 twin stick 107's.  They were geared so low that they were maxed out at 55mph. It was a long drive from The Shop, back to the sand pit.  Sure wish I knew then what I know now......

That looks like it was a Wyoming Sand and Stone truck when it was brand new.  I'd like to see it now. Either way, I've worked side by side with it at one time or another.

That picture is 2-hour's old ......The kid went out and pick it up and drove home ..........Was pulled over .....Truck squad said you don't have a plate ........A few minute's later here your warning  Have a nice day and let him go ....?

My guess is that truck's most likely in good shape. Those guys (on the door) take good care of their equipment. The original owner did too.

Need's a body.......he did buy year's back and still sittin there .......frame was replaced under cab back  ?

Yes, it’s my Son’s, it’s a 96 F250 Power stroke , I think with 140k miles. , he’s all into the Diesel pickups . That Gold truck is a 85 K10  he put a 4BT Cummins in it.( I bought the truck new in 85) That green truck is a 78 F250 with a 6BT Cummins.

And I was just about to post..."and it looks like another clean Ford next to it as well as a "square Chevy" in front of that"😎👌
