  1. OK Tom, that was hilarious. I Even showed the wife. you’re just so clever…. Bob
  2. That’s for the front the rear yes, Paul is pretty precise on that greased up board as the ticket… again if you have a pallet jack it’s a lot easier for the rear rear or the front good luck bob
  3. Unless you have a pallet Jack and a helper or an engine crane you’re better off to take off the tire, and rim otherwise everything is too heavy together good luck bob
  4. Well, they sure all had cool haircuts bob
  5. Not even sure if this is the same guy I do remember the last video he posted of driving it. It sounded real good, but it was the LJ … bob

  14. You know, I think there was an episode of leave it to Beaver with one of those in it for 38 Mack seems like the Christmas story also had something like that when the kid gets his tongue stuck to the pole
  15. I understand some of the guys are telling me they’re putting these things under a camper category because of the size and Weight non-commercial. Good luck. I’m sure you’ll probably figure it out by now… Nevada has antique commercial so I don’t think I’ll have an issue but not everybody is that lucky. Bob
  16. Hell I must’ve missed that photo of all of brand new cross members beautiful job. Thanks for sharing. Bob
  17. Oh by the way that was the early years after a while I would make sure I got at least 5 1/2 to 6 hours of sleep then no problems at all and nowadays with the E logs you can’t really run around the clock anymore anyway
  18. I am assuming most of that was staged when they were pulling the guy out of the b model I was thinking my God don’t show me dead people and then I got thinking that was all filmed to make it look that way I drove nights for 40 years and I am no saint either. I have completely dozed off more than once. Luckily nothing ever came out of bed. I woke right up again.
  19. The more I think about it, it might be easier just to cut a hole in the fiberglass and pull the plate out and replace it but we’ll see what happens frankly, I’m hoping I could turn the studs and wind them out…. Bob
  20. Yes, that’s the plan Paul right now. I’m just spraying the hell out of them with WD-40 tapping them around hoping maybe I can grab a hold of us studs and work them back-and-forth really slow you know take my time stop them spray them. No big hurry. I’ll work at it for a few weeks, if not next step drill them out and try easy outs or re-tap. Not sure if you understood that steel plate is inside the fiberglass and I can’t get to it without cutting a hole and pulling the plate out and replacing it. But I’m going to try the other two ideas first I hope that makes more sense.
  21. That was excellent. Thanks for that.
  22. Certainly a lot there to work with. Good luck bud.

  25. Not sure if I mentioned this but I have not even set in one except for one and a wrecking yard and my hometown they had a lot of big rigs. I was only around 15 years old 1971 or so even then I was thinking man this sucker is cool. Even then the turnpikes were nothing but U R and F model
