    I graduated to a run where I don’t hit any scales and very little chain up 522 a night and 620 if I have to take a snow route single driver tractor with two trailers not allowed over 395 with a chain control we have to go 98 mild around.... bob

    oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo forgot to mention best part of chaining up,,,sometimes we have to do it at boca dam,,,,coldest part of entire pass.6 degrees with wind blowing snow all over you,,,gotta work fast to keep from freezing to death the the wierdest part,,,is the truckee scales have you run right across the scale with all the chains on,,,that really surprizes me,,,i would think they would either bypass you to the empty lane or close it...bob

    I have thrown a enough iron on Donner Pass in my time than I care to think about it never really bothered me except for the fact long hours God love you ..... bob

    Yes a bunch of us lost interest with the kneeling then with the virus no more fans I don’t even watch any of it anymore Super Bowl I never even turned on the game at all I was outside working on my garage .Too bad also bunch of us used to get together at sports bars watch our favorite teams now all the gang we hung with we’re not interested at all ... but I’ve grown to figure out like a lot of people that opened up nine full hours of working around the house and garage instead of sitting in front of the TV I guess it all worked out... bob

    I never saw anything in that shop but split rims but I remember somebody talking about they were coming out with tubeless or they had just invited them can’t remember right now too many years ago ....bob

    Nice neat ... you will have an entire brand new truck when your done.. thanks for sharing Oh also went from vacuum to electric took motor from a 55 Chevy put it in 49 Ford years ago I do remember I had to modify something but the motor was pretty much identical... bob
