    I think they’re going a little bit longer, but a few years back it was very common for dealerships to get rid of inventory older than seven years … seems these days it’s a little bit easier to get 30 to 40 year-old parts than it used to be … bob

    Back in the day, you know that they would be arguing about which side of the road they’re gonna build a school on now it’s all life threatening decisions these fools are all making at our expense you go out and get an F- n job and they pay your health insurance.     Just noticed that last photo makes it look like the intersection is all rusted in actually just a light coating of rust on the outside of the nut. I didn’t feel the need to wire brush off. I filled the gully with oil and greased. The ball bearings still have to put the axle back in and paint the hub

    Last one was the U model I really liked the truck but the engine was a 300 4 valve it didn’t have anywhere near the power the 350 had …. I turned that in and ended my contract with Oakland California Mack dealer they were way cool about it… they took it back and I didn’t owe anything

    Well the cruise liner had a 350 Thermadyne and a 9 speed fuller pulling double trailer pups hauling freight up and down California that was my favorite one I was a sub hauler from 83-90

    I’ll bet I saw 3 of my old trucks rolling after I traded them in ..U an R model and a cruise liner I was pretty excited of course that was a long long time ago
