    We used to go there quite a bit when we were a teenagers. I haven’t been there since about 1974. I just looked it up on Google to see if it was still there and it says yes it’s still standing and it’s still active but it says they closed on Saturday And Sunday this did not sound right to me. Does anybody know anything about the place or is that a misprint or what’s the deal weekend? That’s when everybody is off why would the drag strip be closed? I figured somebody would know. Thanks, Bob.

    On a happier note I did get to meet 2 very cool people that had Mack parts I needed thru ATHS and I did like the wheels of time.. bob

    lol I dumped them years back money money and my chapter did absolutely nothing for us last straw was when they threw thier Christmas party on thanksgiving weekend.. and most of us were outa town.. I’d had enough of them

    best of luck we have commercial antique here also you dont even need a truck license here to drive them ,,,long as no HM and no working it for money i havent tryed to do anything with mine,,,but i have a clean title signed over 25 years ago,,,and it still isnt road ready yet,,,but im wondering if thier going to ask for a bill of sale ??????

    And Geoff I remember when caterpillar had to spend like $4 million on an Internet system because they were starting to fall behind somewhere around 98 I used to deliver it to them on one of my Freight jobs back then

    Took some a little bit longer to go under than others really missed the pension. I missed mine by about a month of being vested it only woulda been around 200 a week since the company was gone, but that’s certainly better than nothing

    thanks for that tom,,,,i knew i wasnt going (TOO) senile i couldnt even find photos of garrett i used to see lots of thier trucks in california,,,all of a sudden they were gone

    i do remember seeing what looked like an eagle conventional cab offset to the left and it hadda really short nose,,,,also in LA i tryed to find a photo but unsuccessful,,,Geoff im sure you know what im talking about

    Excellent yes I think the four door is a fabulous idea and yes, of course I was only joking. Reach out. There’s gonna be somebody out there with them as I mentioned. I could’ve helped you out a couple of years ago. I’m thinking you may have to have some beat up ones rechromed at least you’re in a better area than I am for used B Mack parts good luck.bob
