  1. Yes, went real well. Also, she cooked up. Fantastic, corn, beef, and cabbage. I think it’s the best I’ve ever had and thanks for the atta boy…. Bob
  2. I just mentioned, but linkage was still on the end of the brake handle. Let’s get it straight and you could see where it was mounted. If that will help you spread the gossip lol
  3. well then mecho.,,,,,,,,,im gonna take ball and run....mine has the standard brake pots.and since you seem interested the handle and linkage.is still there,,,but somebody took the unit off the back of the transmission,,,but the replacement trans im using has the unit attached,,,so i will ba attaching it again.when i put that one in.but i saw that add on system on a B model around 40 years ago......and as far as those 3 tubs, that sailed around the flat globe,,,,,i suppose the next thing your going to hand us ,,,is they were all macks,,,ahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....bob
  4. well those beatings worked for us,,,,now that were mostly all seniors,,,,we,re stuck with this unnecessary horseshit, that everyone else dropped in our lap....these dumb idiots need to start holding thier nitwit parents to paying entire damage fees.as well as beatings......bob
  5. didnt have time to work on it this weekend,,,,between another challange 5k walk and wifes birthday weekend....but i think it was mark T asking me about drivers side body condition this is all i can find..as far as cancer.....looks like a protective plate mack added,,,bolts to body mount bracket,,,flaking and looks like bushing is shot and corner of rear skin...bob
  6. Not sure if this is a common practice, but my 66 has both handbrake and maxi… bob
  7. Excellent bud looks great. Amazing progress. Thanks for letting us know..
  8. OK, thanks for that. That’s exactly what I was looking for.
  9. Now I’m confused all our work trucks I 1100-22-5 but they appear to me to be a lot taller than my tires. Maybe just an optical illusion at any rate I’m getting ready to open the wallet wide ha ha hopefully not too wide.bob
  10. OK, let me get this straight at 22-5 is the same outside diameter as a 1020 correct??? I wasn’t really looking for a taller rubber, but I thought they were bigger
  11. Personally, I’m going to look into some used takeoffs container chassis use a lot of them. You might be able to find a full set of good used tires with the rims used. I’m thinking of doing the same thing. Also, I noticed a lot of guys nowadays are just changing the front rims to tubeless since the fronts have the lock ring sticking out which is the dangerous set , just another couple of ideas. I’m going to be looking for tires myself here pretty quick. I also have 20 inch tube type split rims plus as . geoff says taller, rubber means more top end….. good luck … bob
  12. More progress a little bit later unfortunately more preparation ha ha I’ve got a new caper in mind. Let you know what I come up with a little later. I’m starting to think I’m going to put the underneath reinforcement backing in first which will give me a nice foundation to start the outside …bob
  13. I thought I saw that truck at Watts truck show. I think it was just one that looked a lot like it certainly same condition. Couple years ago… certainly not hard to look at.. bob
  14. Yes, I checked that out. I didn’t even notice that. Till roadway mentioned that.bob
  15. I think you put this in a wrong area, but I am the same way the highways around here and nothing but drag strips. They’re no fun at all…. with triple trailers a lot of times on better off on straight road if I get swingers, but I have had them on back roads to get around accidents And yes, just like you said you’re usually the only one out there nobody behind you makes it nice ,, without some pushy jackass all over you trying to get around as quick as they can first chance they get. Happy Saturday.
  16. pretty much lost first time i tryed to drive off ryder parking lot with a 13 sp roadranger brigadeere i was gringing everything....
  17. Just found this one on Google search pretty cool rig
  18. Glass shop can cut anything as long as it’s straight. I bought two of them in the San Fernando Valley California years and years ago for a F model . The guy actually had two of them already cut in stock…. Glass shop. Bob
  19. Well, it went from automatic transmissions to three stick transmissions. I am not sure what the third one was for on that thing I know the older macks had the married box with a two speed browning behind it for top end … bob
  20. Speaking of throwing a bone I wound up with a four day weekend due to internal issues. I am taking care of right now. OK I’m really changing the subject. Where is Joey when you need him ha ha.
